I'm also glad the lockdown is easing but will be proceeding with caution. I'm still wary about even going to the local shops but I'm sure as I get more used to it the fear will ease. Best done in small stages I think. I'm the opposite to you with the weather, I've booked this afternoon and tomorrow off work so I can sit in the sun, the hotter the better for me.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I hope your parents enjoy their 58th anniversary and I'm glad you've got the day off 🙂.
I feel wary about going to the shops, etc, too and don't feel inclined to go to restaurants or pubs. I know I'm going to work every day but I trust my colleagues to be sensible about social distancing and I feel like I have a work bubble. But in the street or in shops you don't know who you might come across and if they would self isolate if they had symptoms.
I hate being too hot too, unlike SA 🙂, and I always sit in the shade or hide indoors when it gets too hot ☀️.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

In honour of SA I spent an hour outside at lunchtime. That was long enough I was way too hot after . Anyway work is finished until Monday , another work week gone by. Even though we are going to 1m in July , work are sticking to 2m so no return there .For the past 2 weeks I have been menu planning again and have enjoyed eating different food again.Have had 4 NSD , all I have bought is milk 85p , I can live with that .Not looking forward to bed tonight , sticky night .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Too hot for me too. I was doing some paper slicing and photocopying today so worked in an empty air conditioned room - it was heavenly until I had to return to the classroom - it was like walking into an oven.....and the windows were open more than usual - in normal circumstances we have them open about 2 inches with a lock on.....to keep the germs at bay we have them open WIDE atm. ....and there were only 15 children in.....there’s usually 30 hot sweaty beings in there.
I’m pleased you got in the garden with your mum and dad.

It's so hot here too. I always sit in the shade, it suits my skin type.
Glad you got in a garden though. Enjoy your day off. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Mum and dad enjoyed their wedding anniversary in the garden , we all had a glass of wine to celebrate. On a Thursday I attended a hospital appt , it was at the local private hospital as that's where the clinic had moved to during Covid 19. Had my temperature taken and answered some questions about Covid then had to wait outside in the sun . When they were ready for me they phoned me and I had my appointment. I felt very safe and the mask wearing was ok. Friday was an opticians appt, they were superb with their Covid regime felt really safe there also , another mask worn. I guess we will all have to get used to wearing them. My DD had the antibody test yesterday with her being frontline in the community.Today she phoned me and asked if I would have the DGC , as it looks like they will be back with me a week on Friday , every Friday until September. They haven't been away from their parents since 20th March so it was a trial run to see how they would be. They were fine, enjoyed playing with all the stuff they haven't seen for 3 months. I didn't kiss or hug them, they washed their hands when they arrived and when they left . Not sure we should have done it but needs must sometimes .Planning on a quiet day tomorrow. Money wise had a scam email tonight about my tv licence , it wasn't very sophisticated. Will need petrol in the next week , but I am doing at least 4/5 NSD per week.Have a good evening.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

Glad your parents got to celebrate their anniversary and the trial visit from the DGCs went well. The hospital visit sounded very civilised too. I’m getting in a lot of NSDs just because I’m not going anywhere 👍I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

That's good that you got to see them to celebrate. I think most people are returning to a sense of normal with common sense which is what you're doing too.

They are being very careful in hospitals now so it does feel reasonably safe to go.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
