I'm glad your back is better - nothing worse than a bad back!
I bet you're looking forward to taking your mum out for her 80th next year. What are you going to see?
Thanks SSG , no aches or pains today . 🤣

@, working from home , ie they haven't been working and myself and my colleague have been doing most of it. Anyway tomorrow it all changes.
I had a visit from a friend last Sunday but saw no one else until Friday , I had 6 NSDs in a row . I have gone back to healthy eating and banned all snacks apart from fruit and rice cakes . I still walk most days and miss it if I don't .
Had another broadcast from our Chief Exec this week, saying if you need to go in work you have to book a desk , and we have 400 people in our offices but only 100 are allowed in . Think I will stay at home at my own desk. There was also a mention of allowances to be introduced, I think we may be able to claim for items bought so am keeping my receipts for the desk and laptop riser, we will see.
Today Father's Day saw my dad and had breakfast with parents , they are my bubble . Took mum for some plants which have appeared outside our local cost cutter , good value they were. I also took her to my daughters to see DGD as she hasn't seen them since beginning of March. DGD ran towards her, but then stopped and said no further gran you might have germs 😂. My dad enjoyed time watching football .
I am taking Thursday off this week, it's my parents 58th wedding anniversary and I will have been at work 41 years so having a day off. ,

Time to get my Sunday dinner underway and watch tv.

Wow 58th wedding anniversary 🎉 🥂 You just made me add up how long I’ve been working - in a couple of weeks I’ll have been at work for 44 years 😱 OMG how did that happen 😱

I’ve worked constantly for those 44 years with only time off for the bare minimum 12 weeks maternity leave and a year out to go to college as a mature student on a secretarial course 30 years ago. No wonder I’m knackered 🤣

We would have all been retiring/retired then if the pension age hadn't gone up.

It's going to be a hot one today and tomorrow 30c they are saying which is way over my limit. I will be hiding indoors today , luckily where I work doesn't get the sun till late afternoon.
I am off tomorrow , intend sitting in my parents garden in the shade .
My hair appt is booked for the 4th July my niece phoned me to book me in.
Although I am glad the lockdown will be easing , I am still nervous about going back to normal. I will be looking after my grandchildren again I think from the week 4th July so feel I need to protect them. I am sure it will be fine, once I have done things.

Have a great day , enjoy the sun ☀️
