Glad you got a visit and feel better for it. I have booked one of the canaries as well for October and now wondering if it will be going ahead. I am sure it will though as things are changing daily and October is a long time off now.

The visit from your friend sounded lovely.

This morning I am going on a visit to work to gain access to some files that are needed . I have had to jump through hoops to get authority to enter the building and a list of dos and dont's . I feel quite apprehensive, as I think it might make me sad or it could make me grateful to be working from home. The weather is certainly better this morning, but not looking forward to Friday's heat as I have to take my parents to the opticians in the car and sit and wait for them, but needs must.My mums party for her 80th is now sorted and paid for , I hope I haven't forgotten anything , it's only at home so no one will worry anyway.Have a good day everyone .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Work was very strange , all my possessions were on top my desk, we have been asked to remove all personal items so they were stashed in a bag and brought home. All the keyboards were gone so nobody uses a desk that they shouldn't . There were office chairs all clustered together to go to people's homes , laptop risers loads and the IT team had at least 50 laptops getting them ready for home working. The building has been redecorated in a lovely grey colour and looks very clean.Hardly anyone in, did see one of my friends though. It made me realise even more that work will never be the same , even after a vaccine we will work this new way. I came home back to my little office grateful to be here.Stopped at HB on the way home and stocked up on a few things , 3 masks for £5 and they are really good as the elastic has things on so you can tighten it , very impressed .I am hoping my DS is taking my old tv to the tip today, it has been in my big cupboard since late May.It is still wet here , hoping for sunshine soon.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

Work and everything does seem so strange, doesn't it?
Hopefully that TV will go and clear up some space for you. Yes, the weather has been up and down here recently hasn't it. I have been caught in a few rain storms having left the house in glorious sunshine. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I haven't been back in the office yet but might need to at some stage just to pick a few personal things up from my locker. Everyone who has been says it's very strange. The only people going in now are those who need to get their IT fixed and those on the helplines who can't work from home properly. There is talk of people who live on there own going back if they want to for wellbeing reasons but the rest of us have to stay home for the foreseeable future. I miss seeing colleagues but that's the only thing I miss about the office to be honest, I prefer working from home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
