Sorry, I don't know how to quote other people's posts to make things clearer
You just hit the quote button under the post and edit it down if you want to pick out a line, like I have here. If you can't see the quote/edit buttons then you are looking here on a phone which is an absolute no-no and renders the forum almost unusable, IMHO.
I have sent both the SAR and the rectification notice. I've also contacted B&M who said the whole thing about appeals going through Smart, but now I'm thinking I should go back and explain even further that this is past appeal stage as the PCNs are from last year and have only just been brought to my attention. She couldn't wait to get rid of me and wasn't helpful in the slightest.
Yes, try again and don't deal with the same woman. Ask for the Store Manager, and if that's her, ask for the Area Manager or head office.

Stop worrying, we've told you how to sort out BOTH issues. Follow the advice to the letter and post on pepipoo about how to do the TEC forms re the Council one, once you know the PCN number and status of it

IMHO the Smart one is NOTHING to worry about. You know they don't issue POFA PCNs because I told you that as a fact. They cannot hold a keeper liable so what you DO NOT do is talk about who the driver was (might have been) when you complain to B&M. Easy enough.

Calm down, these are both very beatable. Just different.

Misty thank you for your lovely reply. I appreciate all of the responses and I know my anxiety is a real hindrance here, so having people like you break things down for me is beyond helpful.

    Thanks again.

OK, so you can see the THANKS and QUOTE buttons, and EDIT for your own posts. Much easier once you start using them, and getting used to the forum more.

Don't lose sleep over these again.

Write yourself a to-do list and get some sleep tonight!

Is it likely that more PCNs will come through at some point or will the SAR pick up on any other possible ones?

No need to live with it and be anxious!

Don't allow the driver to park there!

Well they won't be from now on (obviously) but the anxiety is there for what is potentially yet to come.
