It's odd, I used to worry about declaring early but now find this really encouraging as once I have decided then I often don't think of alcohol at all that day.
Exactly - it's like a promise. I've now been 108 days since a "bender", now I don't want my boozometer to go back to zero!  Who wants red on a spreadsheet? In that time, all I've had is one bottle of St*lla (on a camping trip) and a small bottle of Corona (it was 49p!).
In that time I've saved well over £500, daily beerspend being just under 3p a day on average. Plus I can make up words...
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!

Afternoon all, it's 14/21 for me today image , sorry for the late update, especially because it was smiley day for several people today, but today has been really hectic!
  • I’m with you on 14 days today, cathybird. How’s the new laptop working out?
  • 6/14 for me please Cathybird. Maggie thanks for your intersting post about finding it easier to commit earlier. When I do sometimes it helps me remember that evening that I've promised on here.
