Thank you for missing me season of mist !
firstly I’ve had problems finding this tread again ,,, and I still hate the new look it’s very cold !
ive had problems with my phone
back to the alcohol subject,,,, I’m drinking every day ( had one day off ) but I’m not going crazy with it , I’m home not working , sadly no pay either as I’m self employed and can’t claim universal credit as I have savings in the bank ( my money from the sale of my house ) if it doesn’t sound nasty I’m hoping house prices go down so I can buy again after all this !
i hope everyone is staying safe !
April TF 1 so far !Love to you all x:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:4 -
Nice to see you back Loveasale. These times are very difficult for all.Drinking daily is a coping mechanism, not necessarily the best but if my kids weren’t here I think I’d be slipping into the same.Live for the moment and plan for the future3

Hi Guys,Despite everything we had a great Easter. Weather was fab!Managed 3 AFDs this week, Tuesday through to Friday.Really busy, work, shopping takes for ever, everybody cooking from scratch, more washing up than usual, etc etcWorried that eldest DS might lose his job as work has dried up in last week. Felt quite disturbed that government was extending furlough through to end of June...wondering what state the economy will be in by then and how many people will have lost their jobs....Ah well, thankful we're all healthy for now.ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.4

Enjoyed seeing my smiley, thank you Shaggy and I love the 14 day one too. Hope to get there soon. Glad you had a good Easter, weather was lovely here too, just missing family very much. It seemed so odd to have just two of us for Easter Sunday.11/20 for last night - didn't want to declare early in case of temptation! I intend to have wine tonight then back to AF days in the week.3

Just for transparency I had wine (chardonnay) last night and watched some opera on TV ... there was about 150ml or so left in the bottle this morning, which I chucked down the sink. I didn't measure it before chucking it so that's a (fairly accurate) estimation. I did enjoy the wine
I can't drink a whole bottle at one sitting and really don't want to either, so, there's two ways of handling it - I spread it over two evenings, in which case I would probably have a g&t or similar to start with on both evenings, or I drink 500-600ml on one evening and chuck the rest out. I'm okay with tipping it out though. I think the whole idea that you have to "finish the bottle" is wrong, and leads to increased drinking while people try to do just that.

I return to work tomorrow after 3 weeks working from home and using holidays. Hope to start racking up the alcohol free days soon when I get back into my routine. It really has been a strange and ongoing uncertain time.5
