CuppaTea, glad to hear you are all back from hosp now and best wishes for your little one’s recovery. Just need to make sure that while you are caring for someone else, that you also look after yourself too.
cathybird, you are having that total so far, great work!
HB has been a little absent on this thread and it is a poorer place for it. I hope HB is able to contribute regularly as I valued their thoughts, encouragement and advice; I have known some former drinkers (not anyone on here) who can come across as a bit preach-ey, but I never really sensed that from HB.

No plans to drink tonight so may I have an early 10/28, please.

Thanks, Season of Mist :) You are doing very well too! It was quite funny as after you said that the chance of drinks at lunch came my way but it is now looking likely to be next Thursday instead. :) I agree about HB, hope she's all right :(

Good Luck all those doing dry January. It's our second AF weekend. This one can seem like a bit of a challenge. Stay Strong!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I will put myself down for next week too please, but I am planning on having few tonight and tomorrow.

  • Day 10 AFD for me, I’m out with the girls tonight and I’m designated driver. I’m feeling ok about it, I’ve got an early start tomorrow so it will be much easier without a muzzy head or a hangover!

Have a great weekend everyone xx

Hi all , I’m super busy at work , so no time to write my usual life story on here!,,
I’ve caught up on the theard,,, I wish all of you who are having troubles at the moment my most best wishes and support.
On the talk of AF drinks I bought a little ( one measure think ) of the Sipsmith Gin from H & B it was £1 ,, not tried it yet but I know it is super expensive in other shops so worth a try !
8/18 5/5 SNC and please put down for 5 next week x
:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:

AFD 7/16 today! Almost halfway through, although planning on meeting people for a quiet one tomorrow. Maybe Sunday will be 8?

Most DIY problems can be solved by a combination of spanner, pliers, screwdriver, Allan key and a blade. (Hold it, twist it, cut it!) Very occasionally industrial language, a hammer and an adhesive may need to be added to the mix. (Curse it, hit it, patch it!)
