No drinking here today. Then we're away for a few days so won't get a smiley until next week. But provided I hit target this month then I'll be happy.:D

Morning. Well what a day yesterday. Just going to draw a line under it. Yuk. It started ok but downhill til the evening. Better now not on the morphine. It was great to start with but the side effects of that and the anaesthetic were horrible.

Pleased to read operations are over Arsenalbarnie and Arkers. Hope you are not having to stay too long in hospital as that can be so exhausting. Onward and upward for you both.

8/18 and 2SNC - I didn't manage an AFD on leaving do last night but don't mind as it was a good evening and limited to one Prosecco cocktail and a bottle of wine shared between 4 so not very much each.

Poor Arsenal, bet you can't wait until you get home.
I left 5 hours after op, I could have stayed but I was already planning my escape. I felt so much better in my own bed, the hospital staff were great it was more the environment very hot and in a four bed room one lady had so many visitors they were overflowing into my bed space area if I'd been poorly it would have been unacceptable to put up with this. I sound a bit grumpy, but I banned any visitors and sent DH away within an hour of dropping me off!! I just wanted to get it done and dusted and leave, I am very thankful I was fit enough to do this.
I just need to recover now, and carry on with stage 2 of my treatment.
