    8/24 AFDs today
  • To Arkers and arsenalbarnie, I hope you are both on the mend as soon as possible.

    19/31 thank you.
  • Morning thanks Cathybird and Season of Mist. Well a better night no sickness :j. Mind you all I ate yesterday was a pot of jelly and a packet of crisps that took me 4 hours to eat! I weighed myself and all I have lost since the op is 2lbs! Can’t believe it.

So hoping for a better day today, feel less anxious so the meditating is helping.

    Afd for me please Shaggy.
Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.

Hope you're feeling a lot better today, Annie G and Arsenal Barnie. Sage tea helps reduce sweating, whether it's due to hormonal changes or any other reason. Tastes like old socks, but two glasses a day, straight from the fridge, were just about doable for me, and helped enormously. The weight won't disappear overnight, but your reduced appetite will help you eat less for quite a few days, which will mean you won't want so much when you feel better. At least you're home, and can take things at your own pace.

    20/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

    Good evening everyone,
    16 please Shaggy
AB - I'm glad you are home, and now time to recover.
My wound is every shade of bruise imaginable and is now starting to itch (which is believe is a good sign) I have an appointment with the consultant on 30th so keeping everything crossed that the diagnosis has not changed and that there are clear margins,

We are away again over the next week, so probably won't post much.
Hopefully we'll enjoy the upcoming sunshine and lots of ice-cream!
    Arkers x

11/18 please Shaggy. An AFD Saturday night as I was driving but may have some wine tonight. I've also found an AF Sekt (Prosecco like but less sweet) that's really ok, Henkell and that does feel like a treat as a before dinner drink. Not sure it's sold in UK though. I've just bought an AF Sekt from L*dl to try so that may become available.

Arsenalbarnie I was once in hospital, barely eating and was disappointed when I weighed myself at home but actually weight dropped off for the next week or so, like a delayed effect so I hope the same happens to you.

Arkers hope the bruising fades quickly, enjoy being away and relax.

    Have a good Sunday all
