Hi All
sorry but redressing an old PCN i posted here last year. we have had no replies or letters from the companies who sent out the original letters for the PCN my son received (ZZPS and QDR)
but he has now received a notice of debt recovery letter from DCBL? are they a legitimate debt collection company or part of ZZPS or QDR ?the PCN is almost 2 years old now and to be honest I thought they had given up as nothing had been heard from ZZPS for 12+months now
thanks for any advice or info recieved

DCBL are on TV almost every day , cant pay well take it away , and the Sherriffs are coming etc
a debt collection outfit that sometimes act for the High Court as bailiffs, or as simple debt collectors
you can easily google them
as for any debts , debts are forever, but the courts allow civil court cases for up to 6 years in E & W , and 5 in Scotland , so those tend to be the time limits , not some arbitrary limit you have dreamed up
the E & W system I referred to has been in place since 19730 -
DCBL have two arms. One are proper HCEOs and appear on a popular entertainment programme called "Can't Pay We'll Take It Away" and the other arm is less known.
You are probably dealing with their debt collection wing. Their letters will tell you as such.0 -

They send misleading debt collector letters; they are just like ZZPS in that respect. They also send some headed up 'DCBL Legal' and they play on the fact they are the same firm who ALSO (spearately, not in your case) act as High Court Enforcement gits, on the awful programme, 'Can't Pay We'll Take it Away' on TV.
People mistake their debt collector rubbish for the same thing.
But as long as you have not ignored a court claim and lost by default, then this is just another stupid letter to ignore. Check what it says though, you can tell by the drivel in it, whether it's talking about a claim that you've ignored and not defended and lost by default.
I hope the PPC firm has the right address for him?
Which PPC?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is this to do with your previous thread about a relative getting a PCN from Premier Park? If so, all your posts and questions should be on your original thread, not a new one with no context or history.I married my cousin. No, the acronyms are in the NEWBIES thread - we need you to read it.
I asked you who was the PPC, so it's obviously the private parking COMPANY...
YOU WOULD BE STARK RAVING MAD TO PAY THIS. IS THAT CLEAR?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Close, but it’s not right - as that other paddy, Roy Walker, would say!
