If they keep that sort of promotion up there won't be any post offices left open to receive your mail, and you can bet money that the branches they'll be putting in whsmith won't want you sack of parcels cluttering the place up!Do You Twitter?

I know this is a silly question, but I have a few books with no isbn numbers on only cn numbers can somebody please explain to me ??
Thanks for your help

CN numbers are those published by Book Club Associates and - supposedly - are not to be listed on Amazon though you will see many described as BCA edition. Usually not worth much to be honest. You can list them on GreenMet though with no problem -you can even search for them on there and add them.0

I agree, book club editions seem to go fairly well on Greenmet, but also give ebay a try as I've sold a few on there as well. Just make sure you mention that they are BCA editions as they often differ in size and paper quality to the normal print run.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. An interesting conversation today with Amazon. I had previously listed an item for sale in "Home and whatever" - and I just sold my last one. I find that the item category has been moved to Sports and Leisure and that I cannnot relist because I am not a Pre Approved seller. I could *become* a pre approved seller but I'd have to have a new account with no porting over of my 100% feedback .... bummer!
I shall avoid the hassle of all that and just not sell the items! Even seller support said it was madness if I had been selling the items up to now I should be allowed to continue ... I might try creating a page in a diff category just for them though.0 -

Hi Folks
I haven't posted for ages... all good things come to an end and I'm selling my books, the problem is that I've got 700+, if you were a potential buyer would you buy that many in one go or prefer to by a couple of boxes at a time.
I've put them on ebay twice, only got one bid of £75 which though is better than nothing, I at least wanted to hit £150!
Could you let me know your thoughts?

GC,
The only thing is that these books have presumably been listed on amazon for a while so aren't likely to sell very quickly. This would put me off as a buyer, even at £75, I can pay a similair amount for stock that has not been cherry picked of the high value and fast selling books.
Any prospective buyer would also be considering this and I think you're very lucky to have got a bid that high, unless you didn't mention that you'd been selling them already on amazon!Do You Twitter?

supposedly 1 in 5 post offices will be closed0 -
Well I hope they get bigger post boxes then, coz that's the only reason I need to go inside, is to take the packages that don't fit in the mailbox, as I do mine online.
How are everyone's sales? Mine are at the highest they have ever been this week. I hope that is true of all of you?
Happy Christmas:xmastree:
