CCJ from BW Legal. Please help.

I have read the newbies back in 2017 when I received this PCN.

Now I am up to the point where BW Legal have sent me CCJ and if I pay in full it could be cancelled.

I have NEVER received ANY mail from them because they have been sending them to an address I lived in 5 years ago before I could even drive. And the emails have been going into the Junk mail. Britannia Parking sent all of there little threats in the beginning to my correct address so I have no idea why.

I am sorry for posting but I have read the Newbie thread, or tried to and considering I am at this point now and I am very, very angry and upset with these people and I intend to FIGHT!

Long story short. The PCN was issued to me because their machine and the app was not working. I was fined on two occasions for the same scenario and one was cancelled. It was at Christina time in my first year of driving and I had no idea of private parking companies. I thought it was a council car park and maybe it was free at that time since none of the cars parked had stickers in the windows.

I would really appreciate some help! Because I DO NOT want this affecting my credit rating.

From the NEWBIE thread, I really cannot find where it just states explicitly what I need to do.

Again I was not even able to respond to their stupid letters because they have been sending them to the wrong address!

This is very stressful but I have moral principles and I refuse to pay for something I was tricked into even though I could pay.
This is deceitful and it is really a mind game.

What's the issue date of the claim, and please confirm it is a claim form N1?

I don't know what a CCBC is. The email states that "A COUNTY COURT JUDGEMENT HAS BEEN ENTERED AGAINST YOU".

The CCJ is dated 2nd April 2019.

BW lying legal CANNOT issue a CCJ, ONLY the Court can do this, I understand your angry and you have every right to be but anger gains you nothing with parking scammers, time to read again and learn much more about the game you have been in since 2017.


Answer the regulars questions and use your anger to fight back!

Maybe I should go to a solicitor or something. I would rather not. But I am not paying this. I genuinely didn't know I had to pay that day.

You don't need a solicitor. We do this all the time.

So unless they have sent the wrong letter (has been known) you do have a CCJ.

Are you saying you never received the claim form (probably in March)?

Can you get hold of your post from your old address to grab that claim form and see what it was about and where/when it arrived?

I can't retrieve that letter. I don't know the people there now and it will have definitely been thrown away. It was a dump we lived at when we first moved to London.

I called BW Law and they said they sent some letters out. They wouldn't even tell me what they were or what they said.

I don't understand what is going on really. I will have to search my deleted emails maybe.

I cannot find anything in my junk mail, recoverable items. Looks like they haven't even sent anything besides from that last email about the CCJ.

I am really, really annoyed by the fact that they have been sending all of their crap to an address I lived at years ago. What If I had never seen that email today?

Bailiffs at the door? Bad credit score? For things I knew nothing about.
