I am not aware that there is any social housing on the site
Its usually apart of it to get permission, it should say in the planning statement somewhere.
Traffic will double, and if it was priced based on a open field view, it will be worth less.
So they objected, and are now moving, says everything to me.
Is the big side garden worth 35K more than next door once its overlooked?

Has anyone seen an estate all named the same before? it must be a bit confusing finding a house without using google maps, and the postcode is off in the field.0
-
It's a car park(old college) at the moment not open field view.
It won't double the traffic on the main road, all the house on the other side access that road.
There is a 4 bed on that side a bit smaller single garage £200k0 -
If you only get half of the garage does that mean that you will have a shared drive with another house?0
-
Already posted the Google maps image of the shared drive.0

It has got everything. Electricity substation, backs onto a busy road, has potential to be overlooked and if you think that all of that is alright it also has a shared drive.
It is probably much too expensive for all these disadvantages.
The shared drive would put me off. You can just imagine what is going to happen if the neighbour has visitors or any work done on their house.0 -

I never even considered the shared drive as being a problem as I have never used one before. The road at the back isn't a busy road and there is a new road being built which will reduce the traffic driving there anyway. I think its the price that is putting me off the most now0 -

The post code you have linked to is the new development on the old college site. this again, makes think that this house is overpriced as you can buy a brand new 4 bed detached on the new estate for 235k0 -

So the house with the substation costs more than this because it has a lot more disadvantages? No wonder it hasn't sold. New houses have a premium on them because they are new. So the difference is going to be more than £30k overpriced to start with before you do the discounts for the disadvantages and add the premium for the new house.0
