apologies for delay. had a few domestic/health issues to deal with due to elderly father and in laws. therein lies another thread with extortionate care costs for the elderly though!!

The case was entered by CEL legal team NOT solicitors. I have sent SAR and awaiting response. The court cannot confirm that post was actually sent and wouldnt comment on whether they had IT issues when the papers were sent.

I have got the set aside papers ready to fill in so any help with those would be great as i need to get this monkey off my back.

I have also checked on DVLA and when i pointed out to the receptionist at the hotel that the system had brought up the wrong car (and told not to worry!) if i change 1 character on the reg number it brings up a silver car which is what i saw on the screen. Possible i put C instead of F.

I have also within the last few weeks had another incidence of none receipt of post whereby a cheque from Lloyds bank had not been received.

Also to add background to this a CCJ has an effect on my promotion prospects. I need additional security clearance to apply for posts within my field of expertise. I have been aware of this from day 1 and therefore had every reason to respond to any court papers i received regarding this matter.

Not at all happy with the court either. The guy i spoke to encouraging me to pay up and have done with it rather than fight. Pretty disgusted actually.
