First off, loads of hugs and posivibes for you, Round. I’m not sure what to advise but others on here more than likely will. What I do know is that you have had a lot to cope with this last year so this is probably the last straw. Xx

Thank you Fayolle xx I hadn't thought of it like that. I guess I was hanging off a cliff and someone just stamped in my fingers :(

Dad just phoned - his car broke down 2 miles away from home and he didn't have his phone with him!!!! He walked home - he's 84! He wanted some bits from Mr Co-op - the check out till broke and the cashier had to manually enter all my groceries.

Second load of washing has just finished swishing.

No clue what industry you're in but you are entitled to be in a union. If it's Local Govt. definitely join Unison or another appropriate one.

See the doc and get signed off for work-related stress.?

Round, does your company have a mentor programme?
if so can you use that to talk,
HR is another alternative, start a grievance procedure?
    union as Valli has said?
Go to your boss' boss and talk to them?

I really don't know what the answer is, update your CV / start looking for another job.

Roundtuit Hugs to you. You have already had some good advice above. I also think that you should call in sick on Monday, as this is obviously affecting your well-being.

Well - I have vac'd up, put on the WM and that is now in the TD. DD2 washed up and put on the DW. After cleaning the downstairs sink & toilet I headed to the lottie. I spent most of the time weeding and hoeing. I also spent a while chatting to a lottie neighbour about life, politics and vegetables! :D After about 3 hours (working, not chatting!) I realised it was actually raining and I was getting wet, so I gave up! I must have been in the zone :)

I have had some lunch, and chatted with DH. I haven't asked why he was so grumpy last night, because I don't want to remind him & set him off again!!

I need to go to town now, and get some food shopping - but DD1 has just turned up again - without the dog this time!!

Thank you everyone xx I don't know what I'd do without you all xx

I had a drive over to a friend's - 20 miles each way - to return a book as I find driving soothing.

Two loads of washing drying on airer and radiators. Birds fed and birdbath filled. Cans rinsed and recycled.

More than I expected to get done today!

  • Evening!

Slept in this morning until 10am. Got up once the felines worked out I wasn't snoring anymore, fed them and had to do the usual

    Empty sink
    Unblock sink
    Clean bowl
    Stack washing up
    Clean drainer
Run the tap until the water gets hot
    Do washing up
    Degrease hob
    Do countertops and appliances
    Sweep floor
    Consider murdering snoring !!!!!! upstairs

He eventually surfaced and made food. A jacket potato - because he didn't want to mess the kitchen up [strike]have to clean up after himself[/strike].

Looks like my Easter hols (except for the days I'm working) will be spent cleaning AGAIN.

watching quality (IMHO) sci fi and drinking wine (The Core and Sauvignon Blanc)

and what I didn't get round to doing doesn't matter because I'm responsible to me.

All hard floors swept and steam mopped. I love my steam mop. I have used it to get limescale off taps and fo cleaning garden pots.

Just finished a cuppa, I'll crack on with something else now.
