Hello and welcome, Lemondrizzlelady  Just follow the daily lists in post no.1 and do what you can each day - perhaps aim to do at least level 1. Some of us hardly ever get beyond S&S bathroom and kitchen, but even that makes a difference :D

Well done Kaz. I ought to summon up some willpower as my trousers are feeling a bit tight.

I have S&S'd the kitchen and we are now going to the big city so that I can open a regular savings account with one of the biggest payers (have to do it in person) and then we're going to see the Leonardo drawings exhibition.

Catch up later. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, especially to Narc0, Froddy (how was the concert?), Lame Wolf and dancemum xxxx
  • Morning all,
It's another one of Wish's crazy long list days. If I get loads done today I can have a child free day off tomorrow doing something for me (oooh the excitement).

I am cheating a bit as the cleaner is due today and I'm going to ask her to do a deep clean of the kitchen and I will do a normal clean of the bathroom (that had a deep clean last week)

I have been going for the last hour, so some things are crossed off already.

    To do
Wash all washing (3/4 loads I guess)
    Hang wet washing up
    Dry washing Away
    Tidy kitchen
    Tidy dining room
    Tidy living room
    Tidy hallway
    Tidy bathroom
    Tidy landing
    Tidy Pickle's room
    Tidy our room
(All this tidying involves putting away stuff that has migrated to the wrong rooms)
    Bins emptied
    Recycling out
    Food waste
    Nappy bin
    Change Pickle's bedding
Empty stuff sorted in the office the other night
    Tip run
    Charity shop run
Box of stuff packed for online cd/book selling thing
Bag of books offered to friend (and taken round if accepted)
Travel cot offered for sale on fb sites
    Shredding??

I think that's plenty to be going on with.

  • Struggling to keep on top of things this week with the kids here, I blink after tidying up and more cups and bits of rubbish have appeared :(

I am going to get back on track tonight, OH is going to vacuum the house and I will give the kids a chore each too to help us out. My jobs will be:

    - wipe down kitchen and bathroom
    - clean shower screen
    - empty bins and put out bins for tomorrow morning
    - get ironing done before it becomes a mountain
    - put a washing load in the WM ready to go on tomorrow morning
    - quick clean of both toilets

That shouldn't in theory take up much time at all, but it's waiting until after dinner to get anything done in the kitchen.

Thankfully we should have our wifi up and running tonight (2 days early) so they should be more preoccupied with playing on their consoles rather than crafty bits. I fully advocate making things and getting a bit messy over being stuck in front of a screen but I just need some time tonight to get us back on track!
  • 'Mid day' check in from me. Sat on the stairs waiting for the floors downstairs to dry so I can crack on with some more. I'm actually really pleased with what I've achieved so far today. Just need to keep the momentum up for the rest of the day.

    To do
Wash all washing - number 4 has just beeped it's finished. So 5 & poss 6 to go in - where does it all come from.
Hang wet washing up - 3 hung up, 4 to be done when I can get to the kitchen (floors need to dry)
Dry washing Away - not sure any will be dry today. Job for tomorrow probably.

  • everyone must be super busy. I am sooooo delighted with the following. And it's only 1:30pm :j :j :j

Box of stuff packed for online cd/book selling thing failed due to lack of box. But all in a shopping bag and friends messages for any boxes they may have.
[STRIKE]Bag of books offered to friend[/STRIKE]accepted, but she's at work, put in car for weekend delivery.
[STRIKE]Travel cot offered for sale on fb sites[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Shredding[/STRIKE] not finished by any means, but a good go had today.

The question is, what do I do with the rest of my day? I'll potter in the loft/office for a bit. More shredding and potentially some more stuff to be flung.

    Here's to a successful day's flying everyone.

    Wish.

Still alive; still struggling; still trying to keep the place out of midden-dom. Not had the heart to post here.

Latest hell - Mr Wolf had to have a colonoscopy yesterday. They couldn't do all of it (something to do with his Parkinson's) so he'll have to go back for another one in a few weeks' time, but this time after a week on a low-fibre diet. That's gonna be interesting.....
I now have to trawl t'internet to look for low-fibre vegetarian recipes. (Although he's not veggie, I can't handle/cook meat or fish, it just nauseates me).

So - we still don't know if he has Something Nasty going on.:(

And due to a mix-up re collecting him from the endoscopy unit yesterday, I had to hobble from the car park to the unit and back (about 2 mins walk for most people, took me 10 mins going and 15 coming back - the coming back bit was without shoes, as they were just too painful to keep on my feet by that point) and my left knee is now seriously banjaxed. Glugging Oramorph like it was going out of fashion!

Bet you wish I hadn't bothered posting now, don't you?
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

One of my wellies has a leak so I got a soaking wet sock, so I'm going to find the hole and super glue it, as the wellies are new, but I bought them some weeks ago, so I cannot return them.
    More daily stuff to do.

LW - we never wish you hadn’t posted, and always miss you when you’re not here.
Kaz - so jealous, but well done. Walking just isn’t shifting it for me, but then neither did the biscuit that I’ve just eaten help either. What willpower?:o

I’ve finished my extra work shift early so that I can pick up DD, so am catching up with Fred whilst waiting in a car park! Flying has struggled to take off the ground again this week. Yesterday I whizzed around the LR before work. As the plasterer is still doing his thing upstairs, a rather large part of me thinks that doing any flying is a complete waste of time. He should be finished this evening so I will have to think of another excuse tomorrow.
Today’s flying has been limited to changing our bedding first thing and remaking the bed, and a quick visit to the f&v market on the way into work. I did manage to make a dent in the paperwork mountain yesterday which I guess was progress.

S'pose I ought to post a list, what with us making the email
