Snow, sleet, rain and it’s only 7.30. Another day at the coal face then back to whizz around for 1/2 hour before picking up DD from after school revision. First French GCSE today, so any spare finger crossing for this morning is most appreciated.
Once DD has left I will change her bedding and squeeze in a bathroom s&s before heading out.
    Oh - I have a fully plastered RoD :D

    Morning

Fayolle, I'm not sure walking is doing it any more, but I am toning up, which is a start, I 'think' I need zumba / body power or what ever, but all at the local leisure centre have loud thumping music to go with it, which I hate, but there are a couple of private type gyms in the area, so I'll visit them or look on their web sites to see what they offer.

Admin day today, sort out end of year stuff, and money shuffle needs to take place, prep of spreadsheets for the new year.

    Hoovering to do
    Kitchen to do.

  • Morning all.

I've got pretty much a whole 'day off' today. I usually have to keep some time in reserve for supply work or 'issues' in my other job. But all is quiet in the world today and I am actually at a loss as to what to do.

My short 'to do' list is as follows:

Put all dry washing away (some is dry, but not all)
Rearrange still wet stuff so it dries quicker.
    Shredding
Hhc in the loft/office can I get more stuff out of the house?
Pick up a cross stitch book from a friend's.
Drop some magazine boxes at a friends?? (Needs arranging)
    Clear my car out.

And I think that that is it for today.
First job though - de ice the car to take Pickle to the childminder's

A fully plastered room is a thing of beauty. Are you onto the fun/decorative stuff now, or is there still more 'you won't ever see this, but it costs a lot of money' work to do?

    Morning all

I only have one lesson today and it's this evening so have a day to myself. Not going to get that much done in the house as bathroom man banging about taking the tiles up off the bathroom floor. But best of all I'm going for lunch with a friend and then spending the afternoon with her to help her make a start on a paperwork frog (more of a toad, but having done it myself I know how once started it seemed so much easier).

Yesterday worked all day but did tidy round before I went out, all washing and ironing is up to date and DD1s washing backlog cleared too. I also went swimming with DD1 last night, it's the first time I've swum in years. Hoping to keep it up and see if it will help strengthen my back and tone me up a bit. Probably need to cut out the cheese and red wine if I want to see the weight go!

    Have a good day
  • I got all of my list done yesterday! :j

Tonight is my night I spend with the people I used to live with catching up on TV shows we were watching, so I will be asking OH to run the hoover round which he had said he would do last night, and instead sat watching tv all night whilst I washed up, cleaned up, made sandwiches etc...

Absolutely freezing this morning, please hurry up summer!

Hope you all have a lovely day x

Hello all, I've been doing quite a bit of flying this week.

Anyone care to join me for HHC while I sort out some neglected drawers?

Hello! I have been away from here WAY too long! (a couple of years I think!)
News in brief: life goes on - much the same!! The house is okay(ish), still filled with other people's little people (and the mess that makes!). Paperwork (of all forms) still threatens to overwhelm me! I think, maybe, I need a bit more structure in my life, and I was reminded of my lovely virtual Flylady friends on this week's email, so I thought I would pop over to say hello! It definitely seems a lot quieter on here than it used to be!
This week I will potter about, maybe tackle some stuff off the list tomorrow morning as I am not working, although I need to take the grumpy dog to the vets in the morning.

The knee is still seriously painful, so the idea today is to try and rest it and hope it sorts itself out.

Unfortunately it's the one that was damaged in a car accident in 1990, and was never looked at by any medical bods; it's given me trouble ever since.

So Flying is confined to stuff I can sort out using the computer (spreadsheets updated, bills sorted out etc).

I was going to go into town to collect meds today but I'll leave it til tomorrow I have sufficient in the house for now.

I need this to be right by Monday, as Bluebell (Staffie guest) will be arriving.
