I make that £1500 Electric + £700 Gas (**) in 373days. DD should have been £180 rather than £114 so a shortfall of about £800.

(**) Electric is more expensive than gas. If you've got gas central heating you should be using that rather than electric fires (just guessing of-course).

Is it a gas combi (hot water on demand) or do you have a hot water tank? If the latter, do you use(or know) about an immersion heater?

Any ideas where the electric is going then? No heaters. No showers. No underfloor (electric heating)? Electric car? How long have you been in your property? Previous years electric usage/bills? Give us a clue... :-)

Is home flat or new build? Are there any other (electric) meters next to yours? (thinking that the electric meter readings are either not yours or there's a problem); do you have any previous years electric readings/bills?
