I can confirm that Euro Car Parks will not update the address details as the PCN is no longer with us.
Woah, they are in deep doo-doo.

The ICO won't like that outright refusal of your right to rectification of address data.

    :T
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    As KeithP says above

Euro Car Parks are clearly very ignorant about their obligations

All they have told DRP to do is chase for an amount of money.
At no time do DRP have/own the PCN as that belongs to the principal which is ECP

ECP must inform DRP of your new address because DRP are the agent of ECP and NOT YOU

    Therefore ECP are talking rubbish.

And, as DRP are simply a timewasting company with no power, you totally ignore them

ECP needs to wake up because there is the ICO to complain to

I will certainly be ignoring them and not following ECP's advice to call them. I think that is merely a trick to get me to somewhat "pay them" if a give in. Not happening.

At least I will be able to see any correspondence that they have sent to me in the past which I never received as I wasn't at the old address and take that on-board.

As for them flat out rejecting to update my address for any future correspondence (if any), I'm baffled lol.

We are baffled every day with these scammers ?

Only give them one chance to rectify this before you report them
    to the ICO

Well you can add me to the baffled club lol.

I'm just wondering, since you guys have a shed ton more experience in this as opposed to me.

When I receive all my correspondence to my new address, ECP are the only ones who can take me to court, right and not DRP? So would I be correct in saying that if they tried to, this would be in the letters I shall be received here really soon?

Also, I will give them that one chance and then report, because if they want to take this back on board, I'll need it updated (legally they have to) in order to receive such court correspondence.

I wouldn't honestly be surprised if they miss out some letters in relation to this as it seems to be the type of scam artists that they are.

Anyways, I could not tell you who was driving the car that night (In 2017) :rotfl: and they can't use the whole registered keeper crap here in Scotland, so good luck to them.

My primary concern is just them not updating my stuff in order to actually supply a court order.

YES ... only ECP can take further action

DRP pretend they can do this and it's just another claim from
their list of rubbish ....... 100% POINTLESS TO IGNORE

    Nice one Beamerguy, appreciate it.

Once my address is updated with them and I read all these letters I will be able to put my mind at rest. Bring them on if they issue anything moving forward!

Update for you guys if anyone is interested in how this is going.

ECP refused to change, I mentioned ICO, they told me to prove my address, my drivers license which I did. They then told me if I cannot prove I owned that car, they won't change it lol. I sold the car a while back, so I've spoke to the ICO on the phone and submitted a complaint as per their request.

Won't the DVLA confirm that you were the Registered Keeper of the car between 'date1' and 'date2'?

Yea, that shouldn't be a problem.

I just think it's all a bit too much and that they're trying to use my old address to sent court action papers to in hopes I don't get them.

Honestly could see these weirdo's doing that.

Not to worry, I'll get it resolved.
