As we all grumble with the fall in, in-credit interest from Tesco bank account, I am curious to know what money-savers will do with their bank account/s with Tesco bank.
Close your account/s?
Transfer to another provider?
keeping the account/s?

Some people answered. One even gave you a link to additional discussion in another thread.
Nothing useful to you in those threads?0 -
Another poll that will leap to the top when someone votes many weeks after the thread dies out. Joy0

Close one/both of your Tesco bank accounts?I'll withdraw and keep it open with £1. It's a handy current account to have still as I opened with no requirements such as pay-in or DD.0

We'll have to keep our fingers crossed and hope another bank gets hacked or has an IT meltdown during the next few days. :rotfl:
Where are those Russian hackers when you need them?0 -
Keep both / one of your Tesco bank accounts?Since the only bank in the locale of my workplace closed down, Tesco is the only place it's possible to pay cash in without getting in the car and driving to the next town. I'll be keeping my Tesco account for that purpose.0

Other / UndecidedI'll be spending the money in my Tesco accounts on handbags, heels, premium distillers' gin and caviar0

Keep both / one of your Tesco bank accounts? The middle 2 options both include the same option that is keep 1 & close 1.
This is what i'll probably do. Try & get a switching bonus, whilst keepi g t'other for clubcard points0 -
Other / UndecidedThere wasn't an option for me so I just clicked "other".
I will probably keep the accounts as you never know, the rates might go back up someday, but most of the money will be going into accounts with higher rates of interest once the rate goes down. Even my pretty low interest ISA will have a higher rate when that happens.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0 -
Tranfer one / both Tesco accounts to another provider for a better rate?I'll switch..hopefully, HSBC will go back up to £175 soon and will switch early.0

As both options applied for you, did you click both options?Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0
