I would never recommend any other site or system to sort matters out

due to what you have said above, you should pay it and be done with it , because the consequences for not doing so and all the above officially coming out could be far worse for BOTH OF YOU

I'm sure the Notice to Keeper that has bee sent to your dad tells you pretty much all that Redx has said.

Re-read that NtK - the bit that tells the keeper how to tell UKCPS who the driver was.

No need to mention insurance at all to anyone. Probably best you delete that comment from your most recent post.

    hmmm I agree!
Another thought: what if we provide somebody's name who already left the country?

I mean, what the implication to that?

hmmm well, I guess I have not much option.
To add further complication on top of this issue:

I was driving it without his consent and without being insured!!
He was unaware about it and surely he is pretty annoyed about it.

If I write the letter to put the invoice over to my name; how does this work me not being insured :/

From your experience, is this site worth it? https://www.parkingfines.org.uk/ukcps/

That would be a criminal offence - so I would tread carefully. If you haven't told them who the driver was (which I assume you haven't), you should perhaps convince your Dad to run this without declaring who the driver was. It may be a problem if he doesn't speak English.

So unless you have the drive to fight it on his behalf and he is willing to take it on, it may be best to settle it but then it is your's and/ or your father's money.

If you/ your father do decide to carry on fighting it, you will need to follow RedX's advice and read the Newbies' thread and then ask for help.

    Good luck.

Your Dad as keeper would be liable anyway under POFA2012. Probably best to pay up and move on.

And you would be asking your dad to lie.

I'm out of this if that is what you are going to do.

a solicitor MP was recently imprisoned for doing that with a speeding offence where she named the russian lodger who was not in the UK at the time

the punishments for criminal offences are far worse , especially for lying (perjury)

you have a strange attitude to UK laws considering you have come here to live (or your family has)

I suggest you pay it asap and be done with it, because you are digging an even deeper hole for you and your family and the sides are about to cave in

sometimes you have to know when to stop digging

try and abide by the laws of our country , believe me , its easier that way, because you dont want you or your dad in prison like that lying solicitor (MP)

    That would be perjury.

How long in prison did that lady MP get for lying about who was driving recently?

    Dear All

Lying is wrong and would not do that! As per per UK laws: I been here 20 years and this is the very first incident that me or my family have had .. don’t jugde so quick.

It was my panic thinking how to get out of this! Yes paying is a quick solution.

If I convince my dad to go ahead with this (without any lies) as per your advice: whats the likelyhood the invoice charge to be cancelled!?

    I mean, on what basis!
