So far I have just used "save page as" and given it a relevant title. For the Reclaim Help Thread I had to copy and paste each individual post as a temp measure which you can see here..

This is not ideal as then I am the OP and the credit isn't given to the people who actually posted the help but if I need to keep the above thread I will credit the people who posted.

But meantime I suggest you just save the thread until the Techie Team decide on what route to take.

Don't know if this is going to be any help? but a member has started a thread in the comps board and is listing all the missing bits and pieces along with their google caches

That looks a good way to quickly get things moving & links to page/thread caches.

Thing is though the cached links don't last as Google replaces them as can been seen by Alfie's post here...

So you need to save the actual thread/posts.

Even on old locked posts?? (sorry showing my techie ignorance here) I'm at the moment going through the old comps on the regular board which get locked quickly as they are only for reference? the ones I have done so far are from way back in 2005??

I've started a thread on the ebay board. I'm also going to start a new FAQ with links to useful info as a lot of the info in the board stickies was (Luckily) duplicated elsewhere.

I've saved my bits of the fourms down to my PC from Cached pages, some of the most important stickies etc
