House been on market a month....hardly any interest

Adding to the pricing, I would say you have got the worst of both worlds. You've priced it low, but then stuck a fixed price on it. This puts off people who feel they "need" to haggle even though the price is acceptable. Putting it up to 110-115 with OIRO you would probably still get an offer at 105k and everyone's happy.
Thanks, we were initially offers over £110,000 when the viewers we did have came to see it,
We were encourage by the EA to do fixed price as its mainly FTB's that would be interested in our property0 -
It's Scotland though, so usually 'offers over' or 'fixed price'. Buyers will expect that. Of course, if it won't sell and if there's no interest, the OP will have to think about dropping the price, but I expect it would probably stay as a fixed price.Adding to the pricing, I would say you have got the worst of both worlds. I don't understand why all the blinds are pulled halfway down. It makes the rooms look dark. You want to be showing as much natural light in your rooms as possible and pulling the blinds down is not the way to do that. Honestly don't know why so many EA's think blocking off light is a good idea.0

Move that box from the end of the bed in the main bedroom - it makes it look like whoever sleeps on that side has to climb over it.
Also can you get a second bedside table for that side instead of the tallboy?
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I think the blinds are half closed because the person taking the photographs didn't know how to do them with back lighting. Whoever did the photos was bascially hopeless.0 -

Weather wise Monday-Wednesday are looking brighter up here so have scheduled with the EA to retake all photos :T0 -

Yes will certainly do that, there is space between but that cannot be seen in the photos,
I could get a matching bedside table no problem,
My parents live two doors down so i can move things like the tallboy, gaming chair etc into theirs for the day of the pictures :T0 -
Hi All, would anyone have any experience of moving EA and if its likely to make any difference? we have our current one coming out wednesday to re-do pictures but the house round the corner from us (essentially same house) but end terrace and better garden is now under offer at o/o £120,000, link below. Its marketed with a different EA and has been on RM since Jan

Open to suggestions on our house which has now been on the market a month with only a few viewings but no offers,
All viewings went well but all 3 were unfortunately not able to proceed any time soon,
I am going to get the photo's of the outside re-done soon as the back garden has been improved and i feel the saturation of the photo of the front of the house is too harsh!
Just to give some background i have lived there for 4 years and just looking to get back what i paid for the house, bearing in mind the home report value is £15,000 more.
Any suggestions would be great as when we move out in April i will lose any chance to have pictures re-done with furniture in - please be kind!

thanks in advance :T
Completely off topic, but what shed is that? I'm currently buying a house and looking for a shed. I've seen loads of good and bad reviews of plastic sheds (which that one looks like).
Any info on it?
