As I said at post # 3, continuing to drip feed such information here on the forum will make it a very slow process indeed..:(

Very impressed with the Technika UK support team, they responded within an hour, and sent detailed email checks to carry out, as they determined that the box had become locked and unable to re-tune or return to factory settings, as all of the reset codes they have emailed me have not worked, however, they will have promised to get back to me with a soluation, and so I will leave it in their capable hands.

Many thanks and apologies for any 'drip-feeding'

    That's good to hear.

Please let us know how you get on, as it could help others who find themselves in a similar situation.

I defintely will update the forum, as I was (and still am) pleasantly surprised on the level of their customer service, and how quickly they responded, especially bearing in mind that I wasn't sure whether it was a problem with the TV or the Freeview box.

For anyone else who experiences the same problem, the Technician has determined that the Freeview box has just locked on the general Menu, which does not allow you to access the tuning or re-tuning Menu. When this does occur, he said that the next stage is to do the Factory Restore, which sadly is not working on my box, and therefore hasn't resolved my issue, but at least we now know where the problem lies.

Thanks again for all help and advice, and have a nice day.

Thats good of them, hope some good comes of it.

As someone else did point out the T181-DVB unit you mentioned is made by Teknique not Technika - Hopefully you are communicting with the correct company!

Yes thanks, I am communicating with the correct company, it was just a typo.
