Get the cheapest, the C1. As it's the same you should be able to get it serviced at Toyota or Peugot.
i have doubt about this.
i work for a company who are dealers for a certain machine, other manufacturers use the exact same machine exept software on machine is different, diagnostics software is different on laptops and the leads and plugs to connect both are different.
not saying this is the case here but its something to look at.
dont judge a book by its cover!
and also to mention the fact that if you need to claim warranty on the aygo and it has a set of citroen filters on it you may also get some trouble here....work permit granted!0 -
Have you considered a Daihatsu Sirion? It uses the same 1.0L/3 cyl engine & all models have 5 doors & air con. Daihatsu is partly owned by Toyota. I drove one recently & was very impressed with it. I'm not sure about discounts, but check Drive The Deal etc.Nice to save.0

My daughter has a 107 Urban, but drove an Aygo as a courtesy car and said the steering was lighter on the Aygo. One thing she is disappointed about, is that it only has one switch on each door for the electric windows, so you can't open the pass window from the driver's side unless you lean across and press the button on the pass dooor.0

i know this may seem a bit shrewd, but this is one of the many corners that were cut in the development of these cars.
it was designed to be a small cheap and cheerful car that is cheap to run....work permit granted!0 -
We looked at all 3 cars when wanting to buy our DD a car for her 18th birthday. The Citroen looked awful both inside and out close up, the Peugot we couldn't do a test drive as we had forgotten licence, Toyota allowed us to test drive having filled in a form. DD really like the Aygo although I thought it was a bit of a hard drive. They also have 0% finance on at the moment, and by going on line I found a dealer who would do the same car £750.00 cheaper, so off to collect this week. I would have Japanese over French any day of the week - especially Toyota whose reputation and reliability go before them. I would also suggest looking at reviews on What Car and Parkers, I found them very useful.0

Except they are all the same car built in the same factory, although I do agree that Toyota dealers have a good reputation - another reason for choosing the Toyota.
Ours came with a fault from new, we drove into the dealership, the receptionist came out and diagnosed the problem! Excellent service.0 -
No I stand by what I said, they are not all exactly the same car, P and C are benefitting from Toyota's technology as they all do have Toyota engines, and although a lot of the Peugot and Citroen cars are made in Eastern Europe and Turkey, my car has a Japanese chassis number and according to the garage, this identifies where the car was made. P and C do not have the money that Toyota has to throw at development, it is probably a win win situation for all but the residual value of a Toyota wil remain higher than the others, the interior spec is also slightly better in the Aygo, and as has been previuosly mentioned to get the other features like air con etc added on the P & C cars will ultimately cost more.
Also to maintain the warranty the car has to go back to a Toyota garage not a P or C as someone mentioned before.
The Citroen might be slightly cheaper to purchase initially, but looking at resale costs and I think you may well find a difference to the resale value of an Aygo.
At the end of the day I think it all comes down to personal taste and what we see as our own value for money.0
