I have the Shark cordless and find it very good, the only problem is when used on max power the battery flattens too soon, my answer was to buy a spare battery.0

I am kind of relieved to find this thread. I seem to be cursed with vacuum cleaners - one problem after another. The worst being a Vax which literally caught fire mid-use! Vax were very good and took it back to "study" it to ensure it didn't happen to anyone else.
Anyway, back to the Shark Duo - mine has exactly the same issue that other people's has. It works fine (all filters, rollers clear) BUT when I switch it off, it spits out the last load of dirt! So, I end up having to sweep up after I have vacuumed! I've been getting increasingly frustrated but didn't know about this third filter so will check that out. Fingers-crossed it will fix it.0 -
Just out of interest I find that the rear of the front roller can easily block, this in my case is due to my wife’s hair spray which ends up on the bedroom carpet and causes all the dust to stick to the lacquer which stops the front roller, not that difficult to clean though.0
