    Just popping back on.
dp1 hope your little one is recovering now, bet that scared you silly, it would me. I would have liked to be a fly on the wall when the cat brought in the rabbit through the cat flap, where's a will there's a way I suppose :D.
Gers I'm sorry to read that your DM is in the wars again :(. I hope the op goes well tomorrow, it will be a birthday neither of you will forget for the wrong reasons. Please give her a gentle hug from me and wish her well.
We managed to get to the parade and everyone dodged the showers, so no soggy welsh hats or dragons :j. After it passed I made Mr Fix It take me to the local shop and I stocked up on sweeties for tonight ( and hopefully there will be enough left for tomorrow..... but I'm not banking on it :rotfl:)

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently
  • dp1 While I was still at home we had a cat which made a hobby out of bringing home rabbits. Sometimes dead and sometimes still alive. If rabbits were in short supply she would settle for mice but once it was a stoat! Fortunately we didn't have a cat flap so these were either left as gifts on the doorstep or brought inside if she managed to dash past whoever opened the door! My mum was an absolute nervous wreck in case anything still alive was brought in and refused to be the one who had to open the door!

I hope baby soon recovers from the tummy bug, poor little mite.

    Pleasant evening folks xx

Had to smile at the cat/rabbit etc. we had one who kindly deposited birds heads in the bookcase!!
our first lab used to throw his feed dish through the catflap and then jump through it too. This was ok when he was a pup, but he grew like Topsy to be a huge dog. He still thought he could get through the flap though.

Nanny - thanks for the suggestion. Plenty of time to think about it

After all that preparation it was a complete disaster. They took a look, then decided it was too difficult. I'm going to have to have an operation to remove part of my colon.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
