Feeling even more glad I resisted the M&S hot cross buns and hot cross bun loaf yesterday. This will be the first year in my life that I won't have had them at Easter... I could save all my syns from today onwards and have one maybe? Not sure if I dare risk it as I find them completely irresistible, in the way some people can't resist having some chocolate, or a little drinkie-poos, and before you know it you've had the lot!

M&S ones are lethal! However, I bought a box of 12 from Costco, 11 in freezer, 1 synned, heavily (gone for 12, but think it may be a little less, that way I have some hope of not oversynning)! But that is what syns are for and if they are not easily rescued from the storage tin, I can't eat any more.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Normal hot cross buns range from 9 to 11 syns each plus, of course, the butter!

Good idea GTQ to just keep one out and put the rest into the freezer (individually wrapped I hope!).

Didn't need to make the veg soup after all as when I went to get some stock out what I thought was stock was actually some of the last veg soup I made. So still have the veg in the fridge. Will now have to get some beef out of the freezer and make a beef casserole instead! But that's fine as I was going to make a beef bourguignon anyway so the beef is there for that!

Glad you're feeling better Bubbs. Last night must have been awful with all that blood and having to keep changing the dressing.

    That's a great NSV!

Thank you beanielou, joedenise, FrankieM, bubbs and chrisv :D. Had a lovely 3 nights away in Wales, near river Usk and we were lucky with the weather. No rain! Lots of walks with the dog, on the lead most of the time cos of all the sheep & lambs and the fast flowing river, he would have gone in otherwise! Brought my slowcooker along :money: and we enjoyed the PON campfire stew. There were some welshcakes left for us in the cottage, but they were 8 syns each, so we left them ;).

2lbs loss at today’s WI and got my 2.5st award, so very happy :D. Planning the Special Fried Rice from the latest mag for tonight, but will probably leave out the rice :o, I think I have all the ingredients.

After a warm and sunny morning, it has come over all dark here in Bucks and it is raining, boooooo. Hopefully the sun will be back tomorrow.

Well done to everyone sticking to plan :T:T:T.
