Well done on your loss and your shiny v1ckyt :T
I suggested the meringue as a low syn sweet hit tete but you're right, a small kit kat will do just as well. We'll within syns for the day.HB is shorthand for Hairy Bikers. The recipe is in the list of recipes at the start of the thread. It's basically braised beef & onions but I usually add at least carrots & sometimes mushrooms & peppers depending on what I've got in the fridge! Usually serve with potatoes of some sort plus extra veg.
Definitely worth a try.
Denise
The glory of HB braised beef is that it has delicious gravy that's virtually syn free, just a tsp of cornflour for 4 portions.
I bought some Jordans salted caramel syrup today in TKMaxx. So when I finish the Golden syrup, my breakfast porage will be more SW friendly.
Today's EE plan :
B: NAS grapefruit, scrambled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, fried LO veg, beetrootroast lamb, SW roast potatoes, carrots, swede and carrot mash, cabbage, cauli and broccoli
Syns: HP sauce 1, HM gravy 4, weekend wine.0 -

Hi guys,
please could I join in? I've done SW on and off throughout my adult life and done quite well at it in the past but due to health issues the group settings aren't right for me so decided to do it from home this time around, will be weighing on Saturdays.
If it's ok for me to join then for the challenge period I would like to lose 21 lb
If not then that's fine and I understand, thank you xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Morning
It's weigh in tonight. I'm not expecting to lose but it would be nice to stay the same.
I've woken up with a funny tummy, so I'm hoping that calms down.
Food today:
B: weetabix (HEB)(HEA) & banana
L: Roast veg (onion, pepper, courgette, mushroom, aubergine) & quinoa
T: Beefy mince (minced beefy, mushrooms, onions, oxo, soy sauce, cornflour (1 syn)), potato, broc.0 -

Welcome to the thread. Everyone is welcome whether they go to group or do it from home.
There have been some changes this year to the Healthy Extras and some things which were previously Free are now Synned. Basically you are now allowed 2 HEAs (milk/cheese) and 1 HEB. Some yoghurts which used to be Free are now 0.5 to 1 Syn.
If you can manage it you may find it helpful to go to one meeting just to have the new member talk and get the new books.
If this is not an option you can always ask on here or post your menu plans and someone will pick up if you're doing something not quite right.

Back again with today's menu plan:
B - SW fry up - bacon, egg, beans, tomatoes & mushrooms
L - Sausage & onion sandwich - 2 butchers sausages (1), butter (4)
D - Shepherds Pie - mince, onions, peppers, potatoes with green beans & peas on the side. Might even use up the swede that's still sitting in the fridge.
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages (1), butter (4). No other planned.
Need to rein back Syns this week as had loads over the weekend as usual:rotfl:
