Back from France today. Can't believe how windy it's been the last few days and it was even worse here this afternoon. Was glad we got home before the hailstones!

Today has been mostly off plan although dinner tonight was on plan! Ham, egg, SW chips, beans, syn free red onion chutney & pickled onions.

Will get back on plan properly tomorrow. Need to do a meal plan and get some shopping tomorrow as have got no fruit at all and not much veg - bought home half a cabbage and half a swede. Have some frozen veg as well but not sure what's left in the freezer.

Jumped on the scales when I got home and it looks as though I'm only half a pound outside target range and that was at lunchtime so as I weigh in the morning I'll probably be less in the morning. Still haven't decided whether or not I'm going to group this week but probably not.

Have been reading but not posting whilst I was away.

Well done The Walking Dead on being SOTW.

Welcome home Denise, hope you had a good time.

    Bubbs, dinner looks yummy!

    Great loss poundsinbucks :D

Have felt hungry today again, not sure why, and food has been much the same as usual.

    Plan was:
    B - banana & orange
L - porridge HEB with water & milk from HEA, sugar (2)
0% total yogurt with mango and strawberries
D - LO roast beef, cabbage, carrots, peas, broccoli, mash (3) & gravy (2)

Am aware I've had red meat quite a bit this week already, so may have less meat for the next day or so to balance things out a bit.

I've been looking at getting an air fryer and wondered if anyone else has one, and do you do more than just chips in it? What's it like timewise for cooking things? Not sure I want to clutter up the worktop in my small kitchen with something that might not get used enough, but if it is adaptable to various things to cook it could be worthwhile, and thinking OH might be encouraged to cook something for himself at last on my couple of nights off cooking each week.

    Morning all

I HEROICALLY resisted the triple chocolate chunk cookies at a 2 hour meeting yesterday. Well, I had one. A whopping 7 Syns. Other than that, was on plan:

    B - Weetabix minis and a banana
    L - Salad with chicken
D - Maggi BBQ seasoned chicken with broccoli, peas, sweetcorn, sweet potato wedges and peas (1.5)
S - Two oranges, aforementioned cookie.

    Today will be:

B - Scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast
L - Salmon flakes with salad and a baked potato
D - Paprika pork but with chicken - I use 6 tbsp of half fat Creme Fraiche, which is 9 Syns for the whole meal (will serve two). Will have that with rice and veg.
S - Blueberries, peach and some pineapple.

    Have a great day everybody.

SaryI bought an airfryer after recommendations and research. I bought the Power XL from Tesco Outlet on ebay for £59. Am very pleased with. I do potato and sweet potato wedges and veggie sausages in it. Also Quorn pieces, dippers and nuggets for kids. And recently tried the SW baked oats in it, in a dish;) 👍. Instead of using the oven for small stuff, I like it.

FrankieM will look up recipe and try post pic or type it up soon.
