Yes saying they are disappointed they didn't pay the fine and the next step would be court, ccj's, wages arrested and so on. I'm guessing it's a generic letter that they send to everyone.

Did the VCS idiots really say ..... "ccj's, wages arrested and so on"

    They live in the USA.

Thy think they can launch a claim for a U.K. debt in the USA? Good luck with that.

I will bet it doesn't say arrested. If it does they could be in serious trouble.

Well, it's what you get from complete idiots.

They know the USA address so let them continue to play with themselves.

All this rubbish for £100, the other £60 was just a scam add-on

    What a joke
  • Put them on warning that If they write to your address again you'll consider it a breach of DPA and sue accordingly.

I don't think they wrote to the OP (again, apart from the original NTK). OP is talking about a letter received by the person in the USA.

OP - please ask the driver to scan and send you an image of the letter (redacting any personal info) which you can link here. I think we need to see the precise wording used as I doubt they said exactly what you typed. (You/the driver may have interpreted it that way, but the actual wording is important if you/the driver want to pursue VCS for harassment etc.)

Are you an American ???? I ask because your answer seems to be to sue anyone. If a Data breach is proven, let the ICO take it on

The victim of a DPA/GDPR breach can sue for damages ... in the UK. But this is an aside ... the OP didn't receive the letter, the driver in the USA did (and shared the info with the OP). Therefore no obvious DPA breach as yet.
