Mbna site still down for applications. It was meant to be back online on the 27/2 must have some serious bugs :rotfl:0
-
Just had a look at their website and right at the top it says:
"We’re really sorry, at the moment, you can’t make payments to your credit card using your debit card. You can still make Faster Payments from your bank account using Sort Code 77-29-00, Account number 00000000 Ref: Your 16 digit card number."
I tried to pay by Faster Payments from my Nationwide Account, and it asked me to verify by card reader. The details above are what's on my Nationwide account.
I haven't been asked to use a card reader for months and didn't have one to hand. So I paid by debit card - so indeed as others reported, it's been fixed.
I noticed the payment details on the back of the PDF statement are different from above.0 -
All my Friday in store payments showed twice as pending but the available balance was correct, gone back to single now.0

Lets hope their not gonna do a TSB!0

I'm pretty certain with the old MBNA site you could send them a secure message, but in common with other Lloyds sites, it looks as though this very useful facility is now withdrawn. So they only operate a 'half online' site! They can contact you electronically (email - expect they now have an old email address for me), but you can't contact them electronically. I'm thinking maybe I should go back to paper statements and not use the online system at all.0

Statement day today, so I've received the text message saying I can view it from tomorrow onward (seriously..?) - so go to log in & check balance.
Not entirely surprised to find I can't log in. Hmm, apparently change for the sake of change isn't enough, let's hope they don't go full-on TSB on us..
Glad I'm not tied in to them with a significant balance or anything so I have options if things go the way they look like going.0 -
Has anybody managed to see a statement?
Mine says
"March 2019
(account inactive)
No account activity.
No statement available. "
But my direct debit went out OK last week and the balances seem correct.
The statement seems to be the only place now that you can check when promotional rates change,0 -
Looks like the site is finally up and running now. The clever checker is a useful tool and gives you an indication of your credit limit across the cards that they offer you.0

Had to phone MBNA one evening last week to request a change of address following recent house move. Previously was able to do this "self service" via their website. Now it requires a phone call.
Took them over 10 minutes to process this simple change, which included texting me a code that I then had to read out to the customer services person. Lots of apologies for new systems which are very slow.
By contrast, moments later I changed my address with Monzo via their app - took all of about 20 seconds.
"Go figure" as they say in the US of Stateside...0 -

WRONG email address?? and had me down as NOT working with NO income???
I'm hoping this was just a glitch transferring info over but it doesn't inspire confidence. I updated everything and now time will tell if that glitch? or whatever it is/was has any effect on me.
I've just checked this and my MBNA specific e-mail address has changed to my Halifax specific e-mail address so it looks like some records merging may have occurred.
Does the e-mail address and other errors you identified reflect details you may have entered for a previous Halifax or Lloyds account you may have had?• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.
