MBNA Now Running On Lloyds Web Interface

MBNA has now gone over to the Lloyds web interface. Just a heads up to be aware that what you see at first glance is different to what it used to be. Outstanding balance is now cleared outstanding balance only - used to include pending transactions - but available balance includes pending and includes my DD payment due tomorrow. They have lost a couple of my pending transaction details that were showing on Friday but they are included in the available balance figure. Next time you log in you will also need to create a memorable phrase and use 3 characters from it as in the Lloyds log in.

i haven't tended to access my mbna account online - i've usually only used for BTs and so no transactions to check, and monthly paper statements give me all the info i need. but will MBNA cards start to appear via Lloyds banking?0

Just seen the app update not many major changes other than the passphrase and the pending balances0

Just logged on, seems pretty straightforward to me and yes you have to create a memorable phrase as OP says, nothing difficult there.
Its now very similar to Halifax online account and that's another one I find pretty straightforward to use, so all in all good job MBNA.0 -
I wonder if MBNA will be still using their own lending criteria, or will they use LBG instead?
I do like their facelift. The cards look much better.0 -
They will also now generate you on-demand promotional balance/money transfer offers when you go to the transfer page - before you would only get these if offered by them (or if you rang up).0

word of warning people, the new MBNA account does NOT allow your password to contain any capital letters or special characters0

I said I liked the new look website and I still do, one thing I noticed which was marginally worrying is when I logged on last night to check a few things my profile was missing quite a few details, NO telephone numbers?? WRONG email address?? and had me down as NOT working with NO income???
I'm hoping this was just a glitch transferring info over but it doesn't inspire confidence. I updated everything and now time will tell if that glitch? or whatever it is/was has any effect on me.0 -
Annoyingly they seem to have removed the facilty to pay by debit card. I'm sure the option was there when they first switched over.0

They must have some 'glitches' as removing the option to pay by debit card will surely backfire for them.
I noticed one other thing, I tried to look at what BT/MT offers I had available and it came up 'your phone is not activated', I don't have a clue what that means BUT my other MBNA account opened up my offers without any issue??? I'm a bit lost with it all at the moment but as I said they could bev suffering 'glitches' hopefully these will get resolved soon.0
