Hello, it was I that cited Horizon vs Mr J as it is in defendants interests,not claimant I wrotei it out wrong in the forum post is all..Does any one have a link to the actual case rather than a parking page? I know the judge's closing comments but woudl it help having the actual case? Is that even possible?

Well the judge has adjourned the case for 28 dyas to familairize himself with it so hopefully it will be enough to quash the case.

How/why are you thinking that? The case is one cited by the CLAIMANT!

It's not suddenly going to make him think he will quash the case, is it?

As I said:

You DO Need to be VERY robust and direct. Practise in front of the mirror! You had a decent video and you could have said:

If they say the signs near your car said X but you can prove it was a completely different sign, saying Y, then the entire case can collapse.

They can't say 'the contract terms looked like this' if they didn't.
And you could have objected to the citation of a random county court case they failed to file, which sets no precedent and no cases are the same on facts, so was wholly irrelevant.

People win these all the time on here, week in week out.

As I said:

Ok Im confused here. The HORIZON VS Mr J. case is what I cited in my witness statement this resulted in Judge adjourning so he could read up on it and claimant could check with their solciitors about it also as they obviosuly hadnt bothered to check it.
As to why as to why, it was a permit holder car park in my case also so a good chance Judge's decision from Mr J case(in favor of defendant) will apply here.

I cited the case and quoted the Judge's comments,I didnt provide a link,as it would have been a waste of time as the JUdge told me he coudlnt even watch my video I linked as court had no facility. Jeez! But the adjorunment was so he could research it himself.
I contacted Guildford court today in hope of obtaining a copy of transcript but as I wasnt involved I cant,but the Judge can apaprently.
Maybe there is a way of sending the link to the judge in a pdf or something with my case number featured?But as it seems from my hearing he prints out documents it would be a waste of time

Afterthought:

I coudl print off Parking Prankster page and scan it in then send it to court perhaps? Or leave it up to the judge to do his own research?
No idea what Im allowed to do at current stage of the case.
