That is a very clever idea. I have just got loads of samples as I have ordered the sampling sucess pack, and some extra perfume ones, so I do have roughly one of each (apart from the two new ones, but I have those in the bottles and was going to offer a spray). I might just make up an inventory of what samples I have got then do another for who asked for what and when so you can chase them up to see if they want to order it.
One quick question. The large box of goodies on the back of HT12, are they usually any good and worth the money as I am thinking about getting one and building my stock up. I think I am going to do a Pink Pamper Party after reading this times HT, so would like some stock.0 -
Is it really worth faffing about with samples tho, all the time and effort you put in for little gains, we only put samples in with one campaign and orders were still around the same amount.0

Well, I don't know if it's worthwhile or not but I want to try. I have given out some Anew samples of the foundation and a lady is buying. I only tend to do a big lot of the samples if asked to, I don't make a habit of it!! If I haven't given a special offer to my ladies who ordered I normally put a sample in of something I think they may like to try and see how they get on with it.
I'm new to all this (only on my 4th campaign) and want to show that I'm reliable and will give my ladies good customer service, so although it may be faffing around let's hope I get compensation!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Once every six months I'm going to buy around about 20 of each fragrance sample and attach them to the brochures.
I did this on this campaign and so far I have made back the cost of the samples with my commission and I am only a third of the way through my houses but I don't think I will be able to do this every campaign as people might not want a new perfume every time.
But I think every six months will be good. You can't go wrong with SSS samples either

Thanks for the answer Mumof2.
I think the question about how worthwhile the samples is a good one actually. For the time being, as a new rep, I'm posting a sample through the door of everyone who orders attached to a "thank you for your order" card with details of the delivery dates on.
I'm wondering, I don't know of course, if samples are going to be more of a customer loyalty thing than a way to sell samples.0 -
We put the lipstick samples in with books this time as they were included free when the orders arrived, out of 80 books delivered/collected we have sold 1 this campaign, thats around 2% ish (maths isnt my strong point !)0

Hi
The once every 6 months seems a gd idea, if you put a sample in each time you'd be out of pocket and customers would expect them everytime.
The other thing is as a lot of the pages of newperfumes are scented, and they would / could get the smell from them.
xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Btw if anyone is interested in joining Avon pm me and I can pass your details on to a local Sales Leader directly.
Well, I've now collected all the books I think I'm going to get back for C10 and my customer orders have topped £300 which I'm really happy with. I'm expecting an email order from a friend who wants some suncream and SSS anti-mozzie oil for her hols - so it should end up well over £300. So I shall be treating myself to a handbag I think.
I've got my first Avon party next week - looking forward to it.0 -
can anyone tell me if its possible to make a payment with various cards. I want to do this as it will be a struggle to get to the bank to put the money in before the due date, however i have 2 other accounts that i could cover the cost with. When I try paying part of the balance I get an email saying that my account was not charged for that amount0
