I hope she deals with it properly for you tomorrow. Do let us know!

I still have the majority of my old territory as well as the new bit so I'm very happy.

That sounds like a good idea to get the other reps customers...people can be a bit precious if they think you're poaching someone's territory even if the reverse is true!

Got a text order last night for £38 which was great.

I put a message on the order forms to say that I welcome phone, text and email orders so hopefully that will appeal to some people, so it may be worth trying if you haven't already!

Hiya hun, had the AM round today - not overly helpful I'm afraid. She's not actually the AM, she's an AM from elsewhere who's helping this area's AM (who I've never met). Does that make sense?! She said she'll go back to the AM and ask for more details on this elusive original rep. Then she dumped a box of camp 10 brochures, jotted down my order totals and left.

I included a welcome note with my first round already thanks. I set up an email address and included my phone number etc. Included a bit about "I'm happy to help in any way I can etc" too. I also put a card through the doors of those who ordered with a sample attached to the back to thank people and leave a reminder of the delivery date. Hoped it might get me a bit of loyalty ;)

I've got to go and collect the last of the camp 9 brochures tomorrow and am hoping for an order or two as I'm right near the second commission level. I'm up to £137 in orders so another £10 would be ideal :D

Mind you, £150 equals £37.50 commission for about 10hrs work. BUT, then deduct £7.50 for the first campaign reduction, another £6 to order my camp 11 brochures and £2 for some samples - that means I've done 10hrs work for £22!! Please tell me we get quicker at this as the campaigns go by?!

How are you getting on anyway? Have you started on your new round? Well, I'm guessing the text order was from it actually?!

Went to collect books from my 2 new roads tonight, and picked up an order for £65!!! I'm now over £300 for camp 9. By the time I've added on a couple of things for myself and ordered some items for parties I'm hoping to get from clearance I'll have an order total that's at PC club levels. Wow! :D

I also signed up my third rep tonight - so have an Avon man in my team. :) Great guy I think he's going to love doing Avon.

I used to do Avon a couple of years ago and gave up because of study pressures.
I have now finished studying and will start full time work in September (I am now a teacher!!)
I am considering starting again simply to get some exercise and a bit of extra cash. Where do I go to register an interest in my area?
Is there a link on the main Avon site?
    Thanks

Annie I just googled it but I think you could just go to www.avon.uk.com and find the "new job" link bit. I just filled my details into an online form and someone contacted me within a week. HTH.

Quick Question - the HT offer of sample vials, does that mean a pack of five? It doesn't say if they're a pack of 5 or if you pick 5?

yes things do get quicker. as people get to know you will be coming when u say you will, they leave out book. it takes me less than half hour to drop books, collection two days later takes about the same. i come home (luckily i do my street and neighbouring ones), re-do order forms and drop again that night. as each book is different, with holidays and christmas ordering i tend to look at my earnings over a year and not with each individual brochure. i know i put in 6 - 10 hours per campaign and average £80 - £120 per brochure. i have 180 drops to do over two weeks and week that my order goes in, i call this my admin week - do returns, stamp brochures, stamp order forms, get samples lined up etc.

i just had a £500+ order delivered, have had an anew cream returned as customer ordered wrong one and wants to try tv ad serum and also another who has returned a watch and ordered other jewellery pieces of a higher value. i like to pride myself on being happy to do returns for customers and as they know they have good customer service, they tend to place more orders. i have a carrier bag on side that i throw all returns in, and do returns book on admin week. label up, seal and get another bag ready for the next campaign.

hope this helps someone - keep persevering - it is worth it in the end ...

Hi Elle, yes, the sample pack is for 5 vials. I spent a happy evening yesterday cutting one off each and doing a little sheet with the titles and descriptions from the brochure and current prices on my computer as one of my ladies wanted a sample of everything I have (about 12 fragrance samples). Bit of a faff but am hoping she'll order a few bottles from me (fingers crossed!!)
