 No one has replyed to my question regarding whether they have tried selling there spare avon products on ebay??????????
What do people do with them ???0 -
ebay doesn't seem to get very good prices0

based on the ideas from other posters, why not put up the items that are spare into a package / gift basket, I know it sounds daft, but would make an excellent xmas raffle prize (missed mothers day), you could charge 20p a ticket / or £1.00 strip, take a photo of it etc, by the time youve done your regulars youve covered the expenses, just remember that when you quote the price of tha basket you do it as retail price, not what you paid etc.
hope that helps xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Im just doing my posters for my farthers day basket now,my mothers day basket went down a storm here, think oi made over £1000 i orders on my mother day basket.I have ordered myself a new printer for mothers day off the kids, they asked me what i wanted and thats what i said so my partner told me to order it today
.
Ebay doesnt look that good for selling your unused stock from avon i would just stick to doing raffles/baskets.On this book i have got about 5 spare bags im going to have 1 and i know my mum would love one im going to save the rest and put them in my xmas basket/give them to reglar customer as a thank you.
Iv got all my books back in and iv done £804 in orders i keep telling my partner that my orders have got to take a dive soon,so far they just got bigger and bigger.0 -
Hi there, I've just started Avon last Tuesday and am back ordering using brochure 4. I haven't had much joy with orders (only £50) but am using this time to get to know customers and hopefully gain their trust so they know I'm not about to disappear.
I'm going to split my roads in 2, do one lot on one brochure one campaign, then the next campaign leave the first lot I did but do my second set of roads with the brochure I had for the first lot of customers. Well, that's the theory anyhow - I just felt once every 3 weeks is too frequent to order.
Planning to do a newsletter for my customers too to build up the relationship.
Just wondered if anyone has any thoughts on my cunning plans!!!!!!
I just wondered if any of you have any thoughts on my suggestions. Any advice will be much appreciated!!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Ebay is great for the cellophane, i got a large roll for my Christmas presents and I've still got loads left - I've also read that some people go to a local florist and just buy per meter.
Baskets can be picked up from anywhere really, charity shops, tescos, argos, ikea. You could even use present boxes.0 -
My order is now showing up as being sent to carrier - it's in 5 boxes!!! that seems like a lot - do avon go a bit mad with packaging or something?0

Hello All
I signed up as a rep 3 days ago. I'm doing C6. Got 1 order posted through my door on first day! Was thrilled. I was really surprised at how keen some ladies were to get their hands on a book. It is a real confidence boost when people say things like "I'd love one. I've been trying to find out who did Avon for a while" and "oh yes please. I order all my toiletries from Avon but my rep moved a while ago" So fingers crossed. I'm hoping for some more orders soon!
I love the tips about getting freebies like the bags in C5. Has anyone spotted anything in C6 for us reps. It all seems to be buy xxx and get yyy free. Please let me know if you've spotted anything, I'm still very new to all this.0
