    Hi Wirelover

You can just pop the books through the door, and I think that's what Avon prefer you do, but I personally knock on each door and ask if they want one. That way I get to know where not to worry about (and potentially lose books) and I found the number of books that get returned is much better that just dropping them in all doors...

Yes you can do your own offers. I do 'a free gift over £20'

Be careful with free gifts and money off as on some orders you could loose money some items you get a fixed discount, recently the Antler bag for £20 was £1.25 (i think) profit, not the usuall 25%

Just inputtin the wifes orders we are £150 down on last month, im sure the next book and ones after xmas will have not many orders, could be wrong i hope !
  • Thank you for your replys i wanted to do spend £10 get a free gift but im not to sure on how much i shpuld be looking at on a free gift, like deanos said i dont want to loose money.Any help would be great.
  • I've been an avon rep for the past 3 years and what i earn pays at least 1 bill a month. I have an offer on at the moment the person who spends the most that campaign gets a free gift. I also do spend over £20 get free gift.
It is hard getting your customer base but once it is there it is much easier. Always carry a spare brochure, and samples especially when doing the school run.

Also watch the fixed earnings ie the christmas tree and train 0 costs £18 but only make about £1.25
    HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE:j

My Avon rep always says the next two books are a waste of her time, shes been doing it 20+ years and has now decided she's going to miss one of the campaigns out.
We love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!
  • Hi do you have to earn £75 every campaign to get commission?

I'd like to do Avon, but I live in a city (in Spain) where everyone is in flats, so you can't just knock on doors or drop brochures in mailboxes.

    Hi Chollita

Why not sell to your friends and workplace / Mums at school (if you have a little one that is) / local hairdressers or doctors / neighbours that you know.

You may find that you can build a small but reliable customer base there without having to knock door to door

    :)

Has anyone held an Avon party before? I'm thinking of holding one for family and friends between Christmas and New Year and was hoping for some tips?

I've got some bits to have for display / testing and ordered a sample pack and the perfume testers that are on offer. I also have the jewellery box and new ring and necklace in pink to display, but any other ideas?

I'm going to combine Campaign 1 and 2 into the party so people can check out the sale and New Year healthcare stuff, but do the usual door to door knocking in the meantime too.....

I'm thinking some cheap drinks and nibbles in the mind that friends who don't use Avon can come round too just for a chit chat too....??
