Ok just complained to Avon about the U samples & have been promised someone will get back to me!!!. I have complained that i had been promoting this perfume to my regular customers and have had a lot of interest and promised to pass on tester VIALS to them, not some smelly paper! which is useless!!!
After reading on here that some people got proper vials and free U perfume delivered with there last order im very upset lol, clearly Avon doesnt like me and parmed me off with the smelly paper  . Will let you all know what happens0 -
Also wanted to say tho, last month from Avon i got the Cosmopolitan Ladyshave & Epilator free!!!, was listed on my invoice then next to the item it stated FREE and wasnt 2 sure why.....0

I logged on tonight with the idea of saying 'Hey - anyone else had the email about the new website?' but it seems everyone is ahead of me :rotfl:
Whoop-de-doo......PRICES!!! The only problem is that every time something is 'improved' it always turns out to be useless, especially since they have spent years telling us how wonderful the original is, or perhaps that's just me???
I'm delighted to hear that U is like Kenzo Flower, as that has been my perfume of choice for years (well, not when I'm 'Avoning' of course). Which reminds me - how did they get away with naming the Cynthia Rowley one 'Flower'. Are perfume names not subject to copyright?

I'd also recommend signing up under a sales leader. If you go direct to Avon your contact will be the area manager who will be responsible for hundereds of people. i joined direct and get no communication or help from my AM, in fact she has sent me on several wild goose chases to territiory already covered by other reps. You'll definately get more help and support from a sales leader.0

I was signed up by my AM about 4 years ago, and she 'gave' me to a SL who I was told earns quite a bit from me each campaign.....(but maybe that was my AM telling porkies last year to get me to become a SL;) ...which I didn't i hasten to add)
But I wouldn't have a clue who my SL is as I've never heard from her and don't even know her name.0 -
I've had nothing about a new website
Although it is all new to me
Has anyone bought the bras before? I bought the enhancer bra today for myself and I have to say that for the price, I am impressed, although I think that comparing it to the wonderbra in C14 is somewhat misleading. Also, I ordered sizes either way to be on the safe side but my 'regular' size fits perfectly... could be handy to know if any of your customers ask how the sizing comes up.
One thing about U that is puzzling me: My ASM told me to buy a load on the moneymaker and take them to customer's houses with me to demonstrate them. But then she sent an email reminding everyone that you have to leave 24 hours before taking the goods round because you need a peddlers license to actually sell door-to-door. So what, I go to a customer's house, make the pitch then tell them I have to come back tomorrow to actually give them the product?! How on earth does that work in practise?! Surely if your customer just happens to ask you in for a cuppa then you show them this fab new perfume... And when I did party plan I always sold stuff on the night of the party!
Anyway, that confuses me.
Has anyone bought one of the £60 bargain boxes on C16? Are these things generally any good? I was thinking maybe they'd be okay for prizes etc if I did parties. Has anyone bought them before?0 -
I think Avon are covering there !!!!!! , i doubt a customer is going to grass you up for selling them perfume the day you show it to them, im sure many wont know that a law like that exists0

Hi everyone!
Been reading this thread, very interesting. I am customer who has ordered online a few times but am starting to realise how cheap the products are and now I can't afford Benefit anymore due to credit crunch I have ordered a brochure and asked a sales rep to get in contact as I would prefer for someone to benefit from my order rather than just ordering online, however now I am thinking I should join and place my orders for myself and my family, but is it worth it?
Also, it sounds like a business you all enjoy (most of the time) and I wonder if I should join, but before I do can you explain how it works, when I join, what do I get? How do the campaigns work, how long is each one? How much are the brochures please? How do the areas work, do you get given a specific area or can you just brochure drop any area? Would I not be able to do my own road and roads near me?
I read that you have to get circa £76 in orders to earn commission, does that mean you don't earn any money whatsoever on any orders below that amount, or is the commission just extra on top. I don't like being restricted by sales targets as I am a Phoenix Trader and we don't have any targets.
Anyways, thanks in advance for answering my questions.

I have had an email back stating that any moneymaker items were supplied at no extra cost with C13's order and would be charged at a later date - yep I get that BUT... I didn't order any moneymaker items so still am non the wiser as to why I have a bottle of perfume and beauty bag with my order! :rolleyes:0
