  • Hiya everyone I hope you dont mind me posting on here. I have been a sales rep for just over a month and have been searching online to try to find a community to chat Avon. The only ones i have found only have a few posts and the rest are out of the UK..... so I made my own

Please come and join up and lets see if we can get a decent Avon forum going to help and support reps and not just leaders

  • hi vikki - i am a sales leader but i have a team of reps - would it be ok to pass on your web site to them as i think its a great idea for them to ahve somewhere to chat

as for parties - i read previous thread by rachael - i tend to do parties on the run up to christmas and they are a great way to earn extra - i just put a note in with books saying about it and you will find that if you do one then you will get other bookings from that and so it goes on - i do a raffle where every ticket is £1 and then you add up money spent on tickets and winning ticket gets that amount to spend in avon cat so you still get your commission and dont need to worry about a prize

Hi all, ive been a rep since campaign 9 and am doing ok but not great. I started off intending to only sell to friends and family but have i quickly got the bug and now want to start circulating brochures around my area. On my last 2 orders I have checked the box that says something about requesting new customers but have had nothing. I have given up on my sales leader as I have only seen or heard from her her once which was the first campaign when she came to 'interview' me and gave me a load of brochures, some leaflets and then left 10 mins later! I have tried contacting her but she never gets back to me. Can anyone tell me how I would go about getting new territory without stepping on anyones toes? Do i just phone Avon cust services and ask them?

    thanks in advance
  • hi luby - you need to contact whoever signed you either your upliner or asm and they will be able to sort some territory for you but it sounds like your sl is not good - what area are you from and i will find out your asm for you and you can get territory from her - by the way as a sl you should have a hour visit on your first sign up and she should then come again to help you put in your first order and give you your second load of books!!
  • Hi there's a woman i know in my area who's a SL for 'avon'
she wants me to sign up under her, how much would she earn from my sales say if i placed £200 worth per book what would she get?

Im an SL for AVON , depending on the size of her team depends on how much she would get, ssay she is new though and hasnt built up a big team - she needs 5 to be earning, she would get 4% on earnings over 144.00 and 3% on orders over 76.00 - they are the limits for your commission too. PM me if you want to know anything else :)
  • Hey again everyone :)

I just wondered if anyone can explain the returns process to me..

I have added the items using the credit option.. so now the items appear at the bottom of the 'view order' page... what happens then? Do I send them off seperately, or give them to the courier or what? :S im probably missing something really obvious lol
I was given some returns paperwork bits and bobs by my leader, how should I use them?
sorry if this sounds rly silly.

on another note - how has everyone done with their orders this time round?

i am so surprised ive managed to accumulate orders adding up to 393.60!
along with a few free gifts for some of my customers who spent 20+

i just hope c15 will be as popular, tho it probably wont be..

my rent contract ends on the 30th of this month (as I am a student no longer) so I am moving back to sussex temporarily to my mums. I also however have a couple of interview for work in bromley (as I want to move back to the SE london area ASAP) I dont want to lose the customers I have found, so I am going to carry on supplying the catalogues to people who have shown interest in the past.
My area manager knows this and I probably wont bother getting in touch with the area manager for where my mum lives... im sure this will be ok wont it?
When I move somewhere more long term, I will swap to the local area manager...
anyone do avon in the dartford area? -this is where I will be likely to move

When you confirm your order it asks you if you want to print off a returns form, just print it off put one in the parcel and ask the driver to sign the other one, he will take the parcel away back to Avon, also you should have a sheet with barcodes on place one of those on the parcel and jot down the barcode number on the receipt the driver signs

Got an email from avon today asking me to take part in a survey. Mentioned that in future they may be thinking of organising a central collection point in big cities for folks to pick up orders when it suits...sounds interesting, would certainly work for me! Got a chance to give a bit of feedback too and had a bit of a rant about the types of products they promote etc.

Its my last month in my current job so doing one last round of orders then need to get some new customers from a new area ive started doing!

Still need a new full time job!
