Avon - Hints and Tips?

Quick question I hope someone can help me with, this is my first campaign, I place my order tomorrow so I'd rather get this sorted out before my ASM comes round to do my first order with me...
It's from campaign 13.
One of my customers (woohoo! I have customers. Well, a few of them anyway...) has ordered from the buy 2 choose 1 free offer across pages 26-43. She has put down the mineral blush on page 28 and then the smooth mineral eyeshadow on page 32. She has then put down the free eyeshadow brush immediately below it.
Surely the brush doesn't count as her 'free' item on the buy 2 get 1 free offer? Because she would get it free even if she only bought the eyeshadow! Does she get another item free or not?
She hasn't put any other items down. I was going to get her to pick a free item 'just in case' but it seems a little unprofessional to not know one way or the other. I have got to get her to pick a free mini mobile lipgloss too, so I don't know if she thought her brush was her free item or if she just forgot to put the offers down.
Anyway, I thought if I could offer her something she didn't know she was entitled to it might get me some brownie points for good customer service
Also, how do they calculate your commission level? Is it the value of stuff customers will actually pay for, the list price of everything? Does it include orders from Hello tomorrow and catalogues etc (I know you don't get commission on them but do they count towards your total?)... I don't really understand.0 -
Avon sell eye shadow brushes too. Not them little ones you get inside the eyeshadow but a bigger one. The product code is 36988 page 33

Thanks Mikiki
She hasn't put an order code so maybe she wants the bigger one. I'll try and get hold of her and check first though!
Can anyone explain the way MOVs work please?0 -
Hi guys!
I've just signed up to be an Avon rep and wondered... what happens now? Do I get allocated my streets or have to find them for myself?
Sorry if I'm being really dense, might just be having a blonde moment but the website doesnt really explain much.
ThanksJust because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.:p
Back on the Slimming World wagon...0 -
hi sparky one
have you been signed? if you have the person who signed you should have asked you if you wanted a street - if they didnt you need to contact them and ask them for one - also they should have given you some books to get you started0 -
Hey all,
Got all my books today and started delivering to friends and family as think my new estate has already been taken. Going to take some with me to work tomorrow and see if that helps at all. Does anyone have any other ideas on where to go? what is this about e-bay? how does everyone work the discounts?

The current MOV (£76 ?) is the minimum amount the order has to total or else you won't earn commission on it. If you order, say, some HT items which you don't get commission on anyway but they take you over MOV you will still get commission on the other items. So the key is to ensure the order hits MOV.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

But also, i handed out my brochures today and am going to be collecting them on Friday night, when i collect them, if, i have any orders when can i tell my customers to expect them to arrive? Do i put the order in straight away? When i get the orders do i wait for everyone to order but then make the first people wait longer? Hope this makes sense. Just i got my info and on the sheets it says that Campaign 14 starts day, last day for order is 9th September and then arrive on 15th Sept, so does that mean all orders wont arrive until then?
Thanks:j MOVING TO AUS 12th JULY 2009 WOOHOO :j0 -
hi han
yes you need to submit your order by the 9th and all of your order will arrive on the 15th. You'll get a box with everything in and you need to sort it out by customer by referring to your customer order forms. so make sure you keep them safe.
you don't place a seperate order for each customer, just one large one. so don't click submit on your online order until you've added everything you want. you can save as you go but i like to compile a big list of all my orders and do it all at once. hope that makes sense!! heheWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
So that means that people who order on Friday wont receive there order until at least the 15th Sept? doesnt that seem a bit long to wait? just thought i must have read it wrong bit worried now, will make sure they are aware when i collect them.:j MOVING TO AUS 12th JULY 2009 WOOHOO :j0
