  • Oh dear- what did she order? Is it easy stuff to sell on?
I had a guy at work whos mum orders and he said "my mum says she always gets her product first and then pays". Cheeky! You wouldnt go into a shop and say "i'll take this then come and pay tomorrow".

Ohh dont i sound negative! I'll feel better once i've collected all the money- just a bit stressed til then because its about £450 and i wont have anything in the bank to cover as its the week before payday! argh!

    Hi Guys,

does anyone know a good place to get resealable bags in the right size to fit the book and the order form? ive measured it to be about 150 x 250mm and all the bags i find are either way too big or too small. i started taping the extra bit along the side so they looked a bit tidier but its so time consuming and actually really annoying! lol
  • Hey gem, if you look back in the thread there was a convo about where everyone gets bags from and stuff so i hope that is off some help for you x

    Hi Liverpool Louise,

Please can you let us know whereabouts on this thread it mentions about resealable bags that reps use. I would love to buy some too and unfortunately can not see anywhere that it mentions these. I can only suggest ebay but not sure if that is the best place.

    Thanks
  • Have a look at pages 25 onwards- these mention bags.

    Hi,

It's me again - I have been bitten by the posting bug!!!

Is anyone else finding it difficult to obtain the Presidents Club status? I am only on the 4th campaign and the target seems a long way off. I have had no contact with my leader (if that is what you call them), since I started and like looking at this thread for all the tips. I have seen that you can backorder, hold raffles, offer free gifts for introducing people and ordering over certain amounts etc but wonder if there is anything else that you can do. I am thinking about car boot sales? I have a little one so am not able to hold parties at home. I am really enjoying reading this as everyone seems to be so friendly.

Anyway essay over - thought I would just say well done to everyone who has great order values and keep up the good work!!!! You make me smile each time I read a new entry. It now feels like I am not alone on this Avon adventure..

You seem to be doing really well. I have an area of 260 houses but only 120 people are actually interested in buying anything and that includes friends and family. How long have you been doing this for? If you dont mind me asking how big an area do you have? are there any tips that you can share with a newbie. I have sold £1500 and am on Campaign 4 (well I have done Avon for 4 campaigns).

Wow Lissa that's a fantastic total for only 4 campaigns :T . I've completed 2 so far (am collecting books in for my 3rd) and my grand total is only £483 .

It definately sounds like you might reach the presidents club as an associate (or whatever it is called) where you reach your target in your first 18 campaigns as opposed to campaign 1 - 18 in 2008.

How do you do it? 120 people is a massive amount. Did you go round and knock on each door first?
