I have been to Stafford Court before when I was an executor (probate) and we just sat around a table. I thought that this would a similar arrangement. Obviously a probate is simpler but you still have to swear on oath.

It is a bit like that, depending on how modern the court is, the judge's chambers is just a room, maybe a table or maybe table and chairs facing the judge .... just like a classroom

I have often thought that if I saw SRS in a pub when I am in that area, would I chuck my drink over him. Nah, it's a waste of good wine.
I would prefer not to be observed.

By all means throw your drink over anyone who pops up there offering to 'help'.

I have wondered that myself as £100 is a lot of money to someone on a minimum wage, zero hours contract.

This is very true. And there's the straw and camel's back effect .... there are many who worry about money 24/7.

There are plenty of sources of injustice & exploitation in addition to the PPCs but I think most people feel boosted by successfully challenging a PCN. Even more so if all sorts of bustards are grinding them down.
