Is this something new for them, increasing rates on existing issue savers ? I have always had to apply for new issues in the past to get the higher rate. I only noticed this morning that they had increased the rate on my ISA, even although the rate for new applicants remains the same.SonOfPearl said:For anyone, like me, who already has a Tesco Internet Saver, the underlying rate (without the bonus) has increased from 0.35% to 0.5% from 6th December. I received an email from them about the change today.
So, if you already have a Tesco Internet Saver, the effective interest rate has increased by 0.15%.No, as @isasmurf says they have increased the standard rate so all existing account holders benefit automaticallyIf you took the old 2.36% issue you now get 2.51% (2.01% +0.50%) but they have reduced the bonus on the current issue to 1.86% so only 2.36% for new accountsDon't worry, they will increase the bonus within a few weeks and you will have to open a new account4 -
Just had an email from paragon telling me that their triple access account pays 3% as of today.4

Nothing yet on their site for a link.Bridlington1 said:Just had an email from paragon telling me that their triple access account pays 3% as of today.0 -
Certain previous issues of Paragon's Triple Access ISA have also increased to 3.00% today but that account isn't currently available either.
Their triple access accounts tend to come and go - they often increase the rate of previous issues initially and then subsequently make the account and higher rate available to all.2 -
@soulsaver - it's mentioned on their historic rates page... defined access account -> triple access3

There is no 3.0% on there either, unless you can see something I can't? see below.janusdesign said:@soulsaver - it's mentioned on their historic rates page... defined access account -> triple access0 -
That link shows all previous issues (1-10) now sitting at 3.00%. You might need to refresh the page, maybe ?soulsaver said:

There now, I could have just not seen the wood...
So unless there's more to come - it's not available to new applicants?

The number one entry on the **No Chat** thread list (YBS Loyalty 6 Issue 2) includes a link to Marcus. The words "Online Savings Account" (immediately before the "Thnx") are a hyperlink pointing there, rather than being part of the YBS link.No doubt Marcus would be happy with the extra interest, but they don't deserve the credit of appearing in the top slot.
