Still no Santander login details in the post 2 weeks later. Hilariously !!!!!!, good riddance and thankfully several easy access banks now beat them.0

I've just noticed NS&I direct saver has now increased from 1.2% to 1.8%11

As previously hinted, Ford Money Flexible Saver 2.5% has gone 'no longer available' (NLA) to 'new customers'. Flexible Savings Account - Easy access savings | Ford Money
I'm not certain if that actually means to new customers or to new applicants.
I know it's possible but I doubt there are many existing customers who don't already hold the Flexible Saver.

I was expecting a slightly bigger increase in the interest rate to c 2% for both these NS&I accounts tbh. Rather disappointing imo, especially bearing in mind that it is now quite likely that NS&I will not increase the interest rates on these two accounts again until several weeks after the expected B of E base rate increase on November 3rd, when 1.8% is likely to be c 1.5% below the leading easy access interest rates i.e. considerably further behind top easy access rates than the NS&I easy access rates usually have been in the last 20 years or so!Section62 said:
Effective today. Same for NS&I Income Bonds.Swipe said:I've just noticed NS&I direct saver has now increased from 1.2% to 1.8%0 -
Cambridge BS has suffered faults after their IT upgrade.
Unable to withdraw funds online or send a secure message of any length.
They do sort the withdrawal by phoning them.

Applied for Al Rayan yesterday and all accepted quickly, but don’t particularly like the idea of having to deposit money first before they have officially opened your savings account for them to then confirm via the post?!. Too much of a faff for the small increase in interest from my current best saving account.0209897m said:I gave up on Al Rayan account. I have an older Samsung and neither of their apps seem compatible, and using via browser it just crashes.
Opened an account with Gatehouse and can't get logged in via the App either. Got in via browser and have transferred over £1 but it hasn't updated balance yet. It seems the account number and sort code isn't unique to the account holder, just their reference, which perhaps slows process down? My surname was part of initial reference given but I couldn't fit it in when transferring from Nationwide. Hopefully Tandem, Zopa or Atom increase rates soon, far smoother process.0 -
You don't need anything through the post to start using the account. Set up the app - a bit of a faff - using the details you already have from the application and you're good to go!snnexus6 said:
