Can anyone give me some insight into how fast Cynergy are with transfers out? Thanks.
I’ve only made 3 or 4 withdrawals, all were made a.m and,as I remember, all were received within a few minutes. HTH

Is anyone taking the plunge with the Atom 1 year fixed deposit account at 4.1%? I have some money in easy access earning 2% and wasn't sure if it's worth waiting for further rate hikes or start earning 4.1% now. I would guess the next rate hike won't be more than 0.5% and so am thinking it might be best to take the 4.1% now.

Next rate hike is expected to be 1% I believe so might see some big changes across the board if that does happen.

Thanks. Do you know when the next BoE rate review is? I guess there could be an emergency hike if the there's another incident like with the pension funds.

November 3rd.  Don't think they will do an emergency rate hike now, if they would've done then it would've been in the last couple of weeks most likely.  But there is some speculation on what happens on 14th October when the BOE stop their temporary purchases of long dated bonds.

Is Nationwide the best account with "instant" withdrawals atm then (albeit, only 3 of them) - All the higher ones seem to be next working day?

My withdrawals from Al Rayan are pretty much instant during business hours.

I've always found Cynergy Bank to be pretty quick as well and no restrictions on withdrawals.
