By inference I am now free to "chat" on this thread. Okay, not really chat but something others may find useful.
The Virgin Money easy access Exclusive ISA is paying 2.25% pa with interest paid annually at the end of December. It does require the VM current account but many will already have this.
This is my go to easy access account now as it is a flexible ISA. I have £10k allowable from a previous year so technically I could have up to £30k.
However, I currently am holding back on this year's £20k in case something else comes up.1 -

I did wonder if the point of the Smart Saver was to be competitive up to a point then once people have boosted their pots they can't get it out and switch cos of the notice period.0
