Regarding the Coventry BS Four Access Saver:castle96 said:Even though the above a/c is closed, if I stilll have £1 in it, can I pay in more?
I think Rudyson means that the account is no longer available to new customers. Customers that already have the account can continue making deposits into it.0 -
YBS have announced they are increasing the rate on their Internet Saver Plus issue 12 on 5/10/22 to:
1.8% below £10k
2% between £10k and £50k
2.05% above £50k
Full list of increases: https://www.ybs.co.uk/boe-rate-change
Also they've withdrawn the family saver account, which has now risen by 0.3% for all interest tiers.

Better than the last increase which was a measly 0.15% on a BoE increase if 0.5%Bridlington1 said:YBS have announced they are increasing the rate on their Internet Saver Plus issue 12 on 5/10/22 to:

YBS changes are a bit muddled - they said they were changing to tiered rates from 22 Nov and gave the rates, now they've sent out rates from 5 Oct not tiered. I guess the 22 Nov rates will be amended again0

They're as clear as mud aren't they? I thought I'd put the wrong dates down on my spreadsheet (the November dates to which you refer). Heaven knows what they mean.happybagger said:YBS changes are a bit muddled - they said they were changing to tiered rates from 22 Nov and gave the rates, now they've sent out rates from 5 Oct not tiered. I opened issue 12 with £1 in case the increases only applied to the latest account but it seems the previous one is always being updated as well.mebu60 said:

However, the people that already have the Four access saver can continue using the account (including adding funds, to answer the original query). Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

Ah I wondered when they would move but they will probably be down the pack again this time next week. Looking at what Zopa do now because they only had an increase last week (?) but they are way down the pack now on EA and even Notice. They are usually pretty good at staying competitive.0
