That long list of no longer available accounts, together with accounts that are available, falls short of my idea of simplification.GalacticaActual said:We’re simplifying our range of products – which means changes to your account(s)

They've got more work to do. There's no Loyalty accounts mentioned in that PDF even though they are listed on their website https://www.ybs.co.uk/savings/interest-rates/withdrawn-accounts/i-m
The LOYALTY SIX ACCESS SAVER ISA ISSUE 2 and LOYALTY SIX ACCESS SAVER EISA which appeared to be withdrawn last month doesnt even appear on that web-page. Last month's PDF seems to be the only complete list https://www.ybs.co.uk/documents/100493/323271/YBM+1607RC+Current+Savings+Interest+Rates.pdf0 -
An insightful guess: The PDF lists NLA accounts that have their rates changed.jak22 said:They've got more work to do. There's no Loyalty accounts mentioned in that PDF even though they are listed on their website https://www.ybs.co.uk/savings/interest-rates/withdrawn-accounts/i-m

And the ones not on the PDF are either not NLA or not had their rate altered atm.

At my moment a lot of my money is in Zopa, the 30 day notice. I like it but the only annoying thing for me is that you constantly have to manually move the money you deposit from the main account to the notice pot. I wish there was a way to just add funds directly to the notice pot.1

When I add money from within the app, there is a drop down box to select the the pot you want transfer in too.andyhicks88 said:At my moment a lot of my money is in Zopa, the 30 day notice. While on Zopa actually I wonder if the recent interest rate change in anticipation of the base rate rise (one assumes) next week or it will also react to that and increase again? The have usually reacted within a few days of an increase and so the move the other day was interesting.
My 31 day pot has notice for the end of next week and at this point I'm unsure what to do about renewing it, I'd normally be quite confident they would react and stay as one of the best options but with this rise a few days ago I'm now unsure what their next move will be and indeed if that was their move.0 -
Leave it in the instant access pot for a couple of weeks and see what happens. It wont cost you very much interestedandyhicks88 said:While on Zopa actually I wonder if the recent interest rate change in anticipation of the base rate rise (one assumes) next week or it will also react to that and increase again? According to moneyfacts, Principality BS will raise the interest rate on their online double access account (Issue 2) to 1.78%.2

Thanks for the heads-up. I just checked my account at the Principality BS website and it's showing the new 1.78% rate.Bridlington1 said:According to moneyfacts, Principality BS will raise the interest rate on their online double access account (Issue 2) to 1.78%.0
