Yorkshire BS has launched Internet Saver Plus (issue 12) which currently pays the same interest rate as the previous issue: 1.60% (on £50K+), 1.55% (£10K+) and 1.25% (£1 - £9,999).

With Cynergy you need to keep opening the latest issue (very easily done) and transfer monies from old account.janusdesign said:
can someone please confirm that it's Charter that don't update their rates on existing issues, so you would need to open a new issue to get the newer rate? From reading this thread, I recall there is a bank that does this begins with C, but can't remember if it's Charter, Cynergy or someone else - I don't have existing accounts with either to know from first hand experience.SJMALBA said:Charter Savings Bank Easy Access issue 26 - 1.54% (£5k min.)I believe from recollection that Charter do update the rates on existing accounts (although whether always to the same rates as new issues I'm not sure)1 -
Marcus easy access, how reliable are their faster payments to your nominated account at the weekend?0

According to their T&Cs... "if you ask us to send your money after 3.30pm or on a non-business day, we may not make your payment until the following business day."2010 said:Marcus easy access, how reliable are their faster payments to your nominated account at the weekend?
I've never requested a transfer on a Saturday or Sunday but have done the odd one after business hours on a Friday evening (around this time) and it's been received within minutes if you were thinking about transferring now - no guarantees though, I guess.

Weirdly, IMO, same rate as Iss11.
What's the point of that?0 -

Thanks for that.kaMelo said:2010 said:Marcus easy access, how reliable are their faster payments to your nominated account at the weekend?
I've always found them reliable, the payments are usually a little slower on a weekend but only by an hour or two at most.
Two payments made early today went through within minutes.
Probably a bit slower as the day progresses.0 -

Do not you get interest during this period or they will close your account??I have issue 2 which had a deposit minimum of £2500. When the Issue 3 was released, i transferred total balance of Issue 2 over.My issue 2 is still open, and i expect due interest will be added at end of the month. What i understand is that a deposit of at least £5000 is required to open the Issue 3, i don't believe there is a requirement to maintain the balance above £5000 after that.
Would you please report the result when your issue 2 interest is paid
Interest paid on the issue 2 correctly.

Sadly still no option for monthly interest payable to a external account
